I need opinions for the Limit breaker.
One more little piece and I’m able to break a 5* yellow. Neith or Delilah or rather two 4* Gullinbursti and Gretel? What do you think?
And my second question is, I used them on Colen and Grimm plus both have Costumes. Waste or did I good? Boril would be my next choice.
It depend on what needs and what more useful, playstyle.
Here is one of Neith LB from this thread:
I’m not saying Neith is better over Deililah though, it depend.
Gullinbursti is defenetly worth LB, specially for VF rules, I do not use Gretel much, but maybe later after my yellow mana at lvl23.
It is based on what we use and playstyle. Colen and Grimm seems good, specially for events, high attack stats.
If you like Boril, then I think is ok, but for me… I would LB Kiril 1st before Boril, but that’s only because I do not use Boril so much and my Boril is unemblemed.
I am in the same predicament, but I tend to emblem my 4* and my 3* heroes. For tournaments they are important, but I especially because I use my 4* more in raids and events (Gullinbursti and Mist) than my only maxed 5* (Sir Roostley).
I don’t have Gretel and I haven’t seen her used so much, so I don’t know, but Gullinbursti and Mist are worth it for sure. Also D’Andre.
I also emblemed Colen and I think he is not a bad choice. Definitely he is more survivable now. Unfortunately he is still kind of squishy to use him very often. I haven’t limit broken Grimm, but I definitely thought about it. Kiril won though, since he is the only blue healer and I use him more often.
I thought about limit breaking Boril as well. But although he was maybe my main hero in the beginning, nowadays I don’t use him very often, so I don’t think it will be useful to emblem him. I still keep his 8 talents though on for when I go with him at war and for some events.
Thank you @jinbatsu for the help and explanation. I also have the Guardien Jackal. So maybe him over Gretel? I’m about to level Gretel and Jackal now.
So I did right instinctively
I love Boril He is fully emblemed and also costume. He never leaves my side lol I like Kirill but I must admit I don’t know how to use him. I barely did… Only when I need a blue healer.
You’ve done well with Colen and Grimm, they are fine.
For yellows 2x Gullin in vf tournament would be crazy but I would prefer to wait and do a 5* first, Neith over Delilah. Don’t do Jackal as he is so squishy that is not going to change, you just need to protect him against titans etc, this will be the only time you ever use him once you get a few more heroes.
Boril is meh, just leave him as he is and as your roster develops you will find you leave him out and you can strip him of his emblems.
Jackal VF is good pair with yellow sniper for raid and war.
And Jackal is usable for 8-9* titan. Emblem or LB did not make big change, but if we choose attack path on emblem, we will get more score.
Yes I did too. I have many fully emblemed 4* and 3* I even gave Nordri and Jahangir the LB and I didn’t regret it. I have some 5* but I love only few to use. I also work a lot with my 4* My Mist has also emblemes. I like her
Gretel is very nice also Hänsel. I don’t have D’Andre only Marcel. Maybe next time.
Good to know and thanks I love Grimms power. I think I will also Lb Tiburtus. I love to use him often with his Costume. I have Raffaele besides Kirill. And Boril even nowadays he’s still with me.
Ok Neith and Delilah are 2 of my favorites. Besides Boril lol With Boril it’s tricky. Many are saying he’s meh and many he’s awesome… So who in your opinion is a 5* Boril? Because I don’t know.
I’ve got two maxed Jackals and they are brilliant. Only use both together against titans as a rule, but wherever a yellow sniper needs a boost, at least one Jackal will be there. I have a decent collection of 5* yellows to pair him with including Malosi, Poseidon, Bai Yeong, Joon and Uraeus (none of whom I’m in a hurry to limit break, they’re fine for now as they are). I’d still be inclined to do Gullinbursti first though.
My first limit broken hero was Gunnar because he was cheap to do and is a beast with costume in 3* tournaments.
My second limit broken hero was Guardian Jackal.
Why?
Elemental Debuffer that is needed for titans but too fragile even with emblems.
Don’t expect to summon C-Leo as my spending has been curtailed (not stopped) so need Jackal
We are facing 9* - 11* titans. The low end of the range isn’t a problem but 10* and 11* can put Jackal out quickly.
Have four Jackals maxed. Two at +19 and two at 4-70. The two at 4-70 once used to come to wars although no longer but are good on lower levels of the Ninja Tower.
The two +19 Jackals always have Sif between then on titans. She cuts damage taken and with two one should make it to the end AND they are top notch tile damage dealers.
The Jackal that went all attack is the one that was limit broken, attack stat is 960. Since tile damage still counts even when dead the idea was to make the attack stat stratospheric. Waiting for a dark titan now that he is maxed.
I know you did not ask about Jackal but wanted to go through the thought process.
a) Which heroes do you use most?
b) Which NEED help to be effective for how you use them?
c) Which heroes will be most benefitted from a limit break?
So Gunnar is used heavily in 3* tournaments (and events), doesn’t need help but is one that really gains effectiveness with the LB.
Jackal is always vs. Dark Titans, Needs emblems AND gains massively so it made sense for me.
Jott was 3rd hero to be LB, also for titans.
Just have it clear in your head why you would like to limit break a hero and which others are in competition in that color.
I LOVED Boril. He was my tank even when in Diamond for a long time. Adore riposte heroes like Boril and Sif, can force strong enemies to commit suicide.
That said, limit breaking him seems like overkill. Emblems are easier because they can be removed when the hero no longer suits you or you outgrow them. Boril may be one of those heroes. If you expect him to be a mainstay for the next… nine months (pulled that out of the air) then it may be worth it. A personal choice with no absolute right or wrong answer if you are playing for fun.
Updating:
Next focus will be aiming for best heroes in 3* and 4* tournaments.
Cost to max is relatively low when compared to the increased rewards for placing well in the weekly raid tournaments.
The consequences of “getting it wrong” are lower since the aethers you use are more plentiful and much less food (& feeders) needed to add the extra five levels vs. a 5*.
An additional minor benefit is the speedier Hero chest each day if you can make it through the week.
@Sternman I forgot to thank you!!! That was a great Text and thoughtful. Thanks Out of all the replies I picked the ones I adore and which are for me very useful and which I use all the time and love them! Grimm, Colen, Jott, Mist, Gulinbursti, Almur, Kashhrek, Russula, Rigard and many 3’s like Pixie, Kvasir, Bjorn and many more. Now I can break a yellow 5* so who’d be better Neith or Akkorog? I tend to break Neith. I so love her…
I don’t have either one of them so take thoughts as just that, thoughts.
Akkorog is considered the stronger hero, he is newer and has better basic stats.
I don’t like that even on offense he can effectively target a wing and only hit two opponents.
I like the concept of Neith better. I love mana cut and I love blind, the two together, yes please. I was bitterly disappointed that she did not join my team.
The “right” answer is the hero you use most. Both should continue to be relevant for a good while longer. Akkorog has better stats so resists power creep a bit longer but it really is a question of who you use.
I am reading the forum much less these days so I could be missing something, but I am not aware of any heroes that nullify the main part of the specials of these two heroes.
Gonna throw my 2cp in here as a player who just returned from a fairly long absence.
I will focus my limit breaks on 3* and 4* as I get more bang for the buck. These heroes, as started above, will help considerably in tournaments and events. I used the recent quest rewards to do Kvasir and Mist.
My 5* lineup is quite weak and a few limit breaks will not change that. I feel that limit breaking one of my 5* would be similar to applying a band aid to a severed arm–it really isn’t going to make any difference, given the power gap between my 5* and recent heroes.
