How to pass leadership? (from automatic new leader) [SOLVED]

Hello all!
A new Leader as been automatically appointed in our alliance due our former leader inactivity. He is not the Leader we have agree upon and want to pass leadership but he doesn’t know how to do it… No person in our alliance knows. Anyone can point us in the right direction?

The leader can promote a new player to leader, which demotes him/her to co-leader. Our previous leader did that when he decided to retire from the game and promoted me to leader.

Edit, note the new player needs to be promoted to co-leader first.

Blockquote The leader can promote a new player to leader, which demotes him/her to co-leader.

But where/how is this achieved? Our desire Leader is already co-leader.

Current Leader – Go to Alliance. The List of members will be shown. Click on player to be promoted. At bottom where Alliance name is shown there are three buttons:

DEMOTE | PROMOTE | BATTLE

Hit Promote to make new leader.

A leader can promote a new leader and demote anyone. A Co-Leader can promote and demote Elders. An Elder can kick members. Anyone above member can kick members.

You can also hit Battle to have a friendly raid against that player’s defense. That option is available to all.

How do you appoint a new leader when your leader has been inactive for almost 2 years?

Welcome to the forum Unlicensed.

I was under the impression that 60 days of inactivity from the leader would see a co-leader automatically promoted unless there are no co-leaders

Game Well :sunglasses: :mechanical_arm:
