I am in the same situation. I decided to go with Alfri. Next will be Ludwig.

I voted Aifrike, if I had her I would. This quest will let me do Amerhyst when she’s ready. Then Ludwig, who I see is 2nd in your poll, so I like that.

Any particular reason to put Alfrike over Ludwig?

Alfri plays the role of a tank in V fast tourney and raids. The extra stats boost with LB helps her survive in that role better.
In normal game modes (raids) she is too slow to survive the battle. So, if I am using her, she needs that extra layer of fat to survive.

Ludwig being Paladin with Max emb will have around 1000 defense and 1550 health. He can hold up his own. And Ludwig is a utility card who will play mostly in events and tourneys and occasionally in raids. He also has 84% def up against Spl Skills. He can survive a lot of damage unless it is tiles.
