  • Ice: I have Pengi, don’t have Tinsel. I voted for Pengi because he does a lot of damage which will only increase with lb and for me Tinsel, while doing a good damage, is first of all a support hero
  • Nature: I don’t have either and both seem great. I would decide based on the speed of the other heroes you pair them with. Overall probably the second part of Hammertusk’s special is more useful, as for Mistweaver it is conditional on whether the opponent’s team has healers or not.
  • Dark: I voted for Hawthorn because he can be a great tank. If you don’t use him as tank, depends on whom you use most often. Probably Hel could use the increased stats most.

@The_Seeker thanks for the well thought out response! I guess I’ve always deprioritised Pengi since I don’t have a huge roster of minion summoners, but I agree that he would probably benefit most from it! As for nature, I usually play rainbow so with my mana troops I can get Hammertusk firing in 3 matches as well and most of the heroes I use are either fast, average or charge heroes. I’m not using Hawthorn as tank in my defense, but I occasionally do in some tournaments. Hel I use mostly just for wars where as Goretooth I just ascended so he’s working his way up to max level right now. Will have think about what you’ve suggested

Nice! A bit off-topic, I am curious which are your war teams. I currently play 3-1-1, but I would like to slowly go more towards rainbow

Actually I lie, when it comes to war I usually play 2-1-1-1 (except in rush wars) but it’s more with raiding I sometimes do full rainbow. But I don’t have set war teams, I orchestrate new teams every time (depending on the opponent) and the only rule I have is when I double up on a colour only one of them is average since I only have one set of 23 mana troops in each colour. I sometimes try and coordinate family bonuses. I always bring one healer. I try and bring at least one mana controller. I sometimes try and capitalise on family bonuses. I have more of an offensive play style so I rarely bring in revivers or slow heroes. Sorry I don’t have an answer for you! Do you have ready made teams that you use? I didn’t know people did that

Goretooth is just insanely good hero and that’s why I voted for him although all 3 are great

Thanks! Interesting to know. I have some teams that I usually use, but I vary depending on the adversary and war aid.

As I play 3-1-1, the 3 are usually offensive heroes and the 1 and 1 are healers, but not only. So I usually keep the fixed 3 and then I vary the 1 and 1 depending on what is needed (cleanse, dispel, etc)

For example I have BK, Elziabeth and Lewena that work often with Lady of the Lake and Rigard.

I have also a team with C. Guardian Gazelle, C. Leonidas and Sir Roostley. Heimdall joins them often. Another team is Krampus - Garnet - Cobalt - Mr. Pengi - Director Zuri.

Oh that’s very well thought out, thanks for sharing. I probably would be more organised if the game allowed us to have more teams without having to buy team slots  Also interesting that you always bring 2 healers of some sort, I’ve never brought more than 1 but that’s probably also because I have a limited amount of fully ascended 5* healers

I guess I definitely have staples so heroes that I use in every war, then other ones that only get used occasionally depending on the type of war and their utility :upside_down_face:

Instead of 5% healers, I would suggest using 25% healers or more. Quite a bit more efficient that way
