Everything that prevents the enemies from charging is the best tank in rushs imo.
Kunchen wasnāt that threatening to me on the last rush w/o holy.
Damage and/or mana cuts were much more effective.

The best you can do is Aegir? With that roster? Any number of those would work, especially at very fast. Misty would be great. So many options. I wish I had your problem.
I think the lineup you listed would be killer!
Yes, the more Iāve experimented and looked at other peopleās results, the more convinced I am that itās almost always better to ignore the color restrictions.
The added survivability benefit is just too modest to matter much.
Where it can be more relevant is when the removal of a color fundamentally alters the nature of a particular hero, or makes a particular skill set unavailable or limited ā e.g. 3* Tournaments without purple lack a way to clear status ailments, and Ursenaās extra holy damage and reflection arenāt relevant in a Tournament like this one.
It can also augment the strength of a hero that would already be a strong selection, for instance making Black Knight an even more effective tank when blues are disallowed; or making Mitsuko even more compelling when another color is limited, so an attacker feels pressure to consider choosing non-blues too, effectively further limiting the choices.
I do, however, think itās worthwhile to consider the Special Rule, which has a much more material impact on battles.
For Rush Attack, Slow AoE or powerful buffs/effects become much stronger, as does healing ā and, in turn, you should expect that an attacker with anything but a terrible board is going to have an opportunity to make use of some powerful Special Skills. I find Rush Attack battles are often either very short, or very drawn out because of that ā you either die quickly, or there can be a long volley of damaging and healing back-and-forth.
Excellent and intuitive points well made, sir. Thanks for sharing, I totally agree. I attack in rush attack with the same team every time. Well, I only started that last 5* RA, but once I did my success went way up.
Itās funny how this tournament really softens the 2 best purple tanks, Ursena and Kunchen, when it should be their time to shine lol.
I guess that will be my defense:
I also thought about adding maybe zimkita or someone else, as I still have some options, but I guess I wonāt change and stay with my first setup.
You can load their counters as fast as necessary. Bring Proteus, Hel, Miki, Hans, Merlin, and/or Peters.
Then try to charge at least one of them before the opponents tank. Hopefully you have a few turns to work on the board now.
Hereās where I believe Iām going (back to posting more frequently I hope).
Iāve read what people posted on Ursena but sheās my best tank and is still very tanky. Santa and Isarnia should be very good in this battle. I went with Seshat for a nice strike and a debuff. I debated for the last hero. I went with Kingston. Considered Domitia and Ariel. I may still out Ariel in and ignore the invite of a green team with two blues.
Yeah I usually use BK, Prot x2, Hansel, cos Rigard. If I get purples itās over lol
You forgot, that there is no holy allowed this time.
Else I could use Onatel +18 or Poseidon +18ā¦
But Kunchen as rush tank kept me at A the last time without issues.
Edit:
Tarlak is to squishy and not punishing at all.
I donāt like him on defenseā¦ He is ok on offense and great against titans, but he wonāt make it ever in my defense.
I guess not even if red isnāt allowed.
Yellow isnāt allowed
Mr. PointedEars
right you are sir, right you areā¦but a guy can dream
Finally I found my def for it:
Either a blue stack struggling on the greens and Mitsies reflection or dark/red at high risk, being neutral against everybody or at least the tank and/or getting punished by icy Isa.
My alt also gonna use Ursena as tank.
Itās the best tank he got even as there is no holy allowed and at very fast she will be punishing especially with a mana troop 11 and above.
But I guess with your troops I also would give there the crit one.
My alt has a level 21 mana and a level 6 crit troop, so my Ursena gonna get the mana troop and Sartana gets the crit.
Others on the defense will be marjanna, Ariel and Kadilen.
I think this is what I settled on. Donāt know if itās the right choice. Find Iām struggling to let go of healers and mana control for hitters. Guess Iāll find out. Iāll have Kunchen to 3/70 by the time the tournament starts. He is a little behind my costume rigard but adds the def down and Iām worried there will be fast dispellers who will shut down HOT.
I could sub jabber for zeline but I would lose my dispel and att down
I donāt think that Ursl will be the best tank in here, since the attacker can load their healers as quick as Ursl fires and her reflection is pointless without holy.
Preventing the enemy from charging should be the best defensive special in rush attack.
Iām hoping not to get matched to many BossWolf tanks next week. Else week will become weak.
I totally get what youāre saying but I donāt have any heroes with Mana control that are remotely suited for tank. And for my DOA hitters, Ursena is as good as any.
Offense is a totally different story. I have the Hansel twins I plan on using. I just donāt want to use defensive roster space for them with AI controlling the target.
Maybe Jabs to kill the wings before they go off or do you mean the 4* sandman?
Jabberwock! In place of zeline? Proteus? I could go ether way.
Could also sub in 3/70 jean just to play with, or go single hitter and put in Kingston and Magni. Either way, I have a feeling people are just going to stick a handle in my team and use it to mop the floor.
Wok tank to cook the wingsā¦
I didnāt say, that Ursena is the best tank for the tournament.
I just said, that she is the best tank which my alt account has.
If I had a boss wolf, I would use him.
Or a black Knight and many other options, which I donāt have
