One of these 3 will make up my team or at least 60%- 80% of it. Might only use 3/5 blue or 4/5 blue for a better arrangement. DEF tanking boril and hoping Boril donāt tank
Boril gets to shine in this tournament; no Caedmon or Melendo plus he buffs his immediate allies.
1st one.
2nd looks redundant
Sonya & Sabs will counter the stealthy riposte dwarf.
When facing +16 Gravemakers or 4400+ defense teams it really doesā¦
Also my second Sonya is like 4-1/4-39+5/8 special so not exactly ready for primetime.
I hate to tag @zephyr1 because youāve already done so much to helpā¦ but, I could really use some input here
I was also thinking maybe switch out Grimm and use costumed Tibs (who has higher TP and def downās all) instead? And maybe switch out Hu Tao for Proteus? And go:
Tibs - Kiril - Boril - Sonya - Proteus But then Iād be double purple so itād be easy for the opponent to stack yellow? I guess Hu Tao could take advantage of tibās def down the best, but heās slowā¦
So the majority of you are doing solid blue. That the ideal lineup?
Without green you canāt go strong against blue.
Iām not sure if mono is better or a maximum of buffs, but I remember Wu was a real threat during the last epic buff booster. With a few buffs up even slashes became deadly, if Wu kicked in.
Thereās still Sonya.
Following on from previous tournaments, Iāll probably go mono with all neutralā¦ So in this case, all blue attack
(Got me top 1% running mono-red in the previous tournament)
Wilbur is an optionā¦ Lots of buff.
I wouldnāt normally use him on defence, but buff booster is the one exception, sometimes.
(At flank with Sonya at tank to remove the spirit link).
Itās a risk though because spirit link counts as a buff for the attackerā¦
There arent many good yellows upon the epics for this one. No dispel, no heal, no buffs. Heavy yellow stacks wonāt harm you much and the only fast is squish-boy Chao. Maybe Jackal, but heās squishy, too and many players donāt have him. How scary?
Depends who you haveā¦ And what troops you have.
Buffs help a lot, blues canāt be stacked against.
Blues that add buffs (Triton, Kiril, Boril etc) will be used wherever possible.
I wouldnāt put Hu in, especially in wing.
I think Iād run Kelile - Kiril - Boril - Tibs - Sonya
My thinking:
-
Boril is your strongest tank by far, and the current Riposte bug is more dangerous to an attacker during Buff Booster
-
Yellow in 4* are generally weak attack except Jackal and Wu, so purple is a decent choice for flank, and a defense debuff on all is very useful; Tibs will also hit decently hard if Kiril or Boril have fired before him
-
Kelile is a bit risky with attackers likely stacking blue this week anyway, but Kiril can give her some cover, and youāre going to get matched based on her and your other Emblemed 4* anyway
-
I considered Grimm, but that would mean pushing Kiril to wing (not ideal), or Grimm to wing (also not ideal)
Depends on the yellow stackā¦ But as you say, no dispel or heal and limited buffs.
Wu is first pick for buffs on attack, Gretel self-buffs, Jackal is mustard in attacking stacks and Li delays enemies building buffing specialsā¦
Looks good but Iād swap the order aroundā¦ If nothing else, Sonya first for dispel (attacks likely to have Kiril, so could be defence buffed).
Kelile could be last after Tibs (hits harder than Sonya, no seconds utility to justify left side).
Is this the one use-case for Agwe?
AoE with buffed attack is always goodā¦ A unique buff that wonāt get overwritten is also good.
Shouldnt Kelile and Sonjy swith places?
The early dispell seems to beat color synergie.
I was gonna ask about Agwe! Haha
My third troop for blue is not so hot. Should I try bad use mostly healers and ripostes?
Ripostes workā¦ But youāll get more out of it if you position better.
Double riposte:
X - riposte - X - riposte - X
Sonya is okay at tank, so consider:
Kiril - Boril - Sonya - Cyp - x
I think you want some more direct damage thoughā¦ Another healer is just getting too passive, though slash could be huge!
