Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

The Treasure Quest

This is standard 5 level Quest.
Each level can be played once.

Special Rule: Featured Families

This is a new challenging quest with rotating high-value loot rewards, such as Aether Crystals and Legendary Troop Coins.

There are 3 Featued families in each Quest, which is different for each quest type.
Heroes belonging to the Featured family can be used unlimited times.
All other heroes can be used only once.
As it is stated in the rules they are getting a 50% stat boost for all stats and a passive, which gives chance to fire the Special skill twice instead of 1.

Treasure Quest Stages

The bold bosses are the real bosses. The other two are just minor enemies at boss stage.

Thank you for sharing, @PlayForFun!
I assume we’ll get 40 aether crystals from the quest on the 2nd rotation. Or is it a different amount? It doesn’t specify aether crystals.
And it’s only 5 stages so it won’t take a lot of effort to complete. How tough are the 7K bosses?

Adding legendary troop summon coins is a nice bonus. Only 5 stages is another nice bonus.

The one time limit thing shouldn’t too big of a problem as folks are used to that mechanic by now. Maybe stage 4 will be tough because you can’t use your best team?

I do not know what will be in the other version.
We will see.

The loot was just this 40 Legendary Troop coins, and nothing more on Stage 1.
No crafting or ascension materials or battle items, no heroes and troops.

Also I do know why Stage 4 gives less coins than 3.
I suppose it is a bug. I am reporting it.

For reference - Heroes in the featured families.

Grimforest Slayer Muspelheim
Boss Wolf Aodhan Baldur
Cinderella CaitlĂn Gefjon
Frog Prince Cathal Sudri
Gnomer Cillian Sumle
Gretel Maeve
Hansel Noril
Pixie Orla
Puss in Boots Rian
Red Hood Saoirse
Rumpelstiltskin Senan
Snow White

@PlayForFun If a non-featured Hero has costume(s) can each costume be used once or does using the Hero eliminate all costumes in one go?

lots of WE needed, but the loot looks worth it

how many days does this quest run?

and I assume, the plan is to change the featured families every time we have the quest?

No, it is like Tavern of Legends.

If you use a hero, then all of his other costume versions are no longer usable either.

Thanks, feared this was the answer, but it’s good to get clarity. Appreciate the rapid response.

In Beta it will end in 19 hours from now.
So probably it was 1 day long.

But maybe it is because we will get the other version too ?

We will see the duration when the Quest is released.

That’s way to short for the WE requirements (97) :scream:

thank you very much!

I agree, 1 day seems short. hopefully the quest will run much longer, in the live game!

My guess it will be longer in the live game.
Maybe it is shortened so that we can test the other version too.
If that will arrive, then we will see.

Stage 5 recommended TP 7000? Omg

Yay! Free lego troop tokens and aether crystals! Very happy

Needed Chuck Norris family

My best team is just over 5500. This is because I haven’t 2nd limit broken anyone.

Possibly their unsubtle way of trying to make players like me finally start 2nd limit breaking and increase spending but in my case it won’t work and I just won’t do the quest.

Another part of the game for me to ignore like the newer tower events.

Just waiting for the power creep to continue growing to eventually post the mandatory meme: “it’s over 9000!”

The 7000 TP stage was not that hard.
I could beat it with a 5200 TP team with 1 LBd heroes and Star troops, and a few mana poitions, antidotes, minor healing poitions and 3-4 revive scrolls are lost in the process.

For me this Treasure Quest seems much easier than the currently going Astral Elves Quest.
At least its Beta version. I have not finished the Quest in the live game yet.

My guess was right.
Staff has answered back in Beta Lounge, and they said we will get alternate versions of the Quest in Beta.

Really? Then this is good. I thought the Astral Quest was super easy, so if this will be even easier, then perfect. Heroes like Darkfeather and G Hippo truly make it much easier
