đŸ§Ș Early Information on New "League of Villains" Challenge Event [Part of The Beta Beat V35]

Still have the 20% bonus stats and barrier bypass
REmove this !!!

Whats the point to compete with different rules for huge whales ???
these heroes are already OP enough by themselves, why boost their stats by 20% + barrier bypass ???

Let’s look at it the other way - why should you have the same chance not spending at all or spending little as someone who funds the game for you?

This game is advertised as free to play. What you are saying is that it should be a pay to play game. Well thanks but no thanks.

Nobody said it was an even playing field just because you CAN play for free. It’s sort of gross to feel entitled and act superior when you’re getting hours and hours of entertainment and making zero contribution to it beyond complaining.

Well, to revert back one of the most common line about this kind of games, everyone should have the same chance because whales are not actually paying directly for event heroes. They are paying for gems to have more luck to pull those heroes. The same luck they can have after 10 30x pulls and some ftps have with some free coins. If, on the other hand, they would be paying directly for those heroes, well that would be a whole different situation and such a bonus could even be justified.

On a more serious note, because those spending already have a sensible advantage in comparison to ftp players: they have heroes ftp players have almost no chance at all to have. Having Finley is already in itself an enormous advantage than not having him at all. Why grant them more bonuses? And if comparing whales with ftps is not enough, let’s just compare whales with whales and ftps with ftps. I ctp player have not a single 5* event hero. One or two entirely ftp players in my alliance had the enormous luck to pull Finley. Why their enormous luck should further be rewarded? There’s no fairness in it at all. On the same note, why a whale who spent thousands and got Finley should have more advantages than a whale who spent thousands and already got the smack in their face to still not be able to pull Finley? Maybe for someone who has most of 5* heroes this is unconceivable, but from the point of view of someone whose greatest luck can be getting Lianna instead of Obakan from tc20 that’s a complete madness.

Folks, let’s keep it civil and avoid attaching blame to entire groups of players.

Every player can contribute to the longevity of the game by playing, but more importantly, every player can contribute to the community through polite and entertaining discourse :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks

Of all the bad ideas SGG has had - and there have been quite a few - I think this one is the worst. It’s hard enough getting sought-after heroes without watering down the results with garbage like this.

We already get a 3* trainer hero with every completed Trial and we can build them in the HA if we need them (well, we can’t really, because one spot is always occupied by retaining legendary heroes and the other one training troops, but that’s another story). We also get them occasionally from wanted chests and titan loot.

I, for one, do not want to see trainer heroes thrown into the summons portals.

I would be seriously displeased receiving a trainer hero from a 300gem pull
 Seriously???

I never tried to “win” a challenge event before, so this will make no difference to me. But, it does reinforce why I’ll never try.

Just see it as a better food than Oberon

As long as the odds are sorted out of the classic rare heroes, I find it cool. Pulling them would be food anyway. They just made a more valuable food

Not strictly true
It doesn’t really water down the “sought-after” hero odds.

Per the OP:

No change in the event hero odds.

It may be a detriment to very very early game players but to the vast majority, a classic 3* hero (and probably a good portion of the classic 4* heroes) are just food.

Getting a trainer hero more than triples the exp you get for feeding a hero you would eat anyways.

I just see a better food. It’s a win for me.

Lol
Getting a trainer makes it no less painful than getting Oberon  But it is what it is
 Right

I see that they still didn’t nerf villain family stats in challenge stages
 Meh

These percentages were taken from classic hero appearance rates.

I think it’s a good thing to get heroes purpose built as feeders instead of the S1 heroes

It’s not enough the biggest spenders get the biggest rewards, we need to make that gulf even more exaggerated.

This is yet another absurd cash grab by the developers. It’s truly disgusting and but one more blow to the integrity of the game.

Can we use EHT for Villains summons?

No.

Unless something has dramatically changed that I’m unaware of.
