Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Opera heroes in Challenge Event

As with the Gargoyles, Challenge Festival 1-2 heroes, the Opera heroes have a bonus when they are used in the Secrets of the Opera challenge event.

Specifically:

• Heroes of the Opera family bypass the Elemental Barriers, and have increased attack, defense, and health (+20%) in this Challenge Event’s stages

Some Notes:

• This bonus ONLY applies to Opera Family Heroes IN the Secrets of the Opera Event.
• It is NOT limited to Unique heroes only… Any and all Opera heroes gain the bonus stat boost.

Special Gameplay

A new Event effect for the Secrets of the Opera.

A Swan Fiend is summoned for all Heroes every 5 turns.

Swan Fiend:

• Absorbs healing; disappears after absorbing 30% of its target’s health
• Damages its target with 100% attack every turn

Elemental Resistance:

• Having multiple Heroes of the same element in your Team reduces the damage that enemies take from that element (-10% for each Hero of the same element)

As with all other challenge events, the Secrets of the Opera comes with it’s own Summon Portal. See below for information regarding the appearance rates.

Epic Classic Hero: 19.8%
Legendary Classic Hero: 1.2%

Rare Trainer Hero: 10.0%
Epic Trainer Hero: 1.0%

Epic Event Hero: 5.7%
Legendary (non-featured) Event Hero 0.3%
Legendary Featured Event Hero 1.0%

Chance for Bonus Draw is missing from the portal, but most likely it is a bug.

Challenge Coins

The "Secrets of the Opera " makes use of the existing Challenge Event Coins currency for summoning. It also features the Suspicious Chest’s as a rare & random monster which drops 1x Challenge Coin as bonus loot.

10 of them is needed for a Summon.

Event Rules

CHALLENGE EVENT RULES

The goal of a Challenge Event is to get a high master score. The players with the highest master score win exclusive loot at the end of the event.

Master Scoe is the combined score of all stages within a diffiiculty tier. Each difficulty tier has separate master score. Stages can be replayed for the best possible score.

The score from each stage is defined by the enemies defeated, speed of completion and the amount of the Hero health left at the end of a stage.
Big combos and great matches are also taken into account. Using Continues has a negative effect on the stage score. It is possible that Special Enemies spawn in stages. Defeating these enemies gives bonus points and awards Challenge Coins.

The different Difficulty Tiers have limits on what Heroes, Troops and Battle Items can be used in fights.

TIPS:

1. Using Battle Item can be extremly effective in Challenge Events.
2. Some enemies in Challenge Events have an Elemental Barrier. These enemies reflect all damage back from their own element.
3. Completing a difficulty tier for the first time gives and extra Tier Completion Reward that is not tied to the score.

EVENT HERO BONUS

Gain addiitional perks in the battles by using the Heroes of the Challenge Event !

Heroes of the Opera familiy bypass the Elemental Barriers, and have increased attack, defense, and health in battles!

Mobs skills

Each monster has a special Skill:

Element	Skill
Yellow	Deals 200% damage to the target. The target is immune to new status effects buffs for 3 turns.
Blue	Deals 100% damage to all enemies.
Red	Deals 400% damage to the target. The target gets -60% attack for 5 turns.
Purple	Deals 100% damage to the target and nearby enemies. The target and nearby enemies dance a Ballad of the Dark Sawn for 2 turns. All existing effects will be removed when this effect is added. Ballad of the Dark Swan - 8% mana generation. - 8% decrease of any healing received. - Gives immunity to new status effects. New dance status effects will be replace this effect. - The effect cannot be dispelled. This effect is removed when the caster dies.

Grimforest, actually. If you mean the Fiend Summons every 5 turns. I might even straight up skip this Challenge Event. I’m kinda tired of dealing with fiends every turn, on top of the bosses who will debuff you with enough stuff to keep you needing every cleanser in the game.

We’re gonna need them to add some fiend resist buffers for 3* and 4* heroes. And HOTMs too (as their gimmick rather than link-specific).

These fiends(in CF1) are easy. Like, from 4* with 4/70 LB1 it takes only 1 round of cRigard healing to break all 3 of them. And they can also get bypassed by minions

-Elemental link
-Aether Power (ex. Guardian Hippo, Vollenmork etc.
-The Hatter and Ithar(stealing Aether Power buff)

Like I said, we could use more heroes who don’t need an element link or LB2 triple maxed to get fiend immunity buff. There’s literally just the blue Gargoyle so far in th game.

@PlayForFun , the opera challenge event gives the exact same emblems for completion as the carnival event currently going on which doesn’t seem correct. There has always been a specific effort to change up the emblem classes for the completion rewards. Can you please look into whether this is intended or a copy/paste mistake? Thanks in advance.
