Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Indeed and really switching up the damage amount from 2 to 1… so creative.

maybe it is: “to a random” ?

Thx @maryij I have fixed it.
It was incorrect in normal Kullervo’s hero card too as I have copy pasted it from there, and just adjusted the numbers.
Now that is fixed too.

thank you , it is important, they create enough confusion through some bad choice of wording especially if english is not your primary language

4* Costume issues minions with higher HP than some 5*.

Wait…, those 5* are considered ancient and therefore obsolete, based on Zynga’s revenue generation criteria.

In line with the Zynga’s new policy on hero tenure.

Says it all about $G’s lack of creativity and greed for cash that almost all of the text can be directly copied from the original…

Thankyou for everything that you do making these threads.

Lol this is ridiculous. Because Kullervo and Aino are so out of date and Sir Roostley isn’t.

Genuinely, what use is two of the three costumes?

Aino needs boosted health. Melikki could probably deal damage too while she’s at it.

And why not just give all of them a copy-paste costume. Wouldn’t even need to test it. They’ll just look uglier than their base.

@PlayForFun - is this an error or will this 4* become legendary once costume is released?

Yes, this is a standard copy-paste error
I have fixed it.

Thx.

Useless costumes IMO.Just like Frigg. Moving a 5% from one part of the special to another isn’t a change. E.g. Increasing Aino’s heal by 5% and then lowering her -mana debuff by 4% in return.

Aino needs boosted health.
Kullervo needs… err, not sure, maybe change his mindless attack to mindless healing.

Right now neither of these costumes is worth anything other than for the stat boost.

Costumes having nearly the same special as the base seems to be the new norm moving forward. Probably because creating purposely bad costumes so that they’re only useful for the stat bonus was received badly (remember costume G. Jackal and the original version of C2 Kadilen). They’ll still add costumes at an extremely slow pace to always keep something “new” every time a portal comes back

SG guide on “creating” costume heroes:

  1. highlight base hero’s special skills
  2. CTRL + C
  3. CTRL + V
  4. change some numbers
  5. $$$$$$

They did a great job on the costumes of Li Xiu, Grimm, Kiril, Marjana, and Leonidas, to name a very few. But most of the costumes are just lazy.
Anyway, commenting on the early information of the new Kalevala costumes…it’s like I’ve seen those skill before.
