Iāve won a few, but I did a 10 pull and have 2 4s and the rest 3s. Still have had to reroll some as there are people who went bonkers and have teams of all 4s snd 5s obviously not leveled but still strong. I have not seen a all 5 team yet.

So, I just got the new dragonspire update and started playing to much contempt. This is literally a completely different game within a game. When some of yāall said that, I didnāt understand what you meant, now I do. This entire thing is a HUGE misfire and will not age well with casual players.

Not to mention, it takes more time and resources to get anywhere in dragonspire compared to when we first started brand new in the base game.
I am stuck at 1-8, only way to move forward is to pay money on portal summons or wait a long time (weeks) to accumulate enough silver coins for a free pull.

One thing i really donāt like is when I get raided and I login, it shows me my dragonspire raids in my MAIN base. They should be separate.

Bobās Frugal Microguide to Not Throwing Your Device During Early Dragonspire
- Donāt play dragons
Okay, okay, letās say you want to try playing this silly thing, but arenāt ready to invest money and/or existing gems.
- When completing the first full stage of dragon!PoV, use the dragon!iron chest reward to upgrade the dragon!stronghold ASAP.
By getting to dragon!stronghold level 3 ASAP, thatās another dragon!farm and dragon!mine to get going (and get upgrading) early, and that matters for, well, everything. More than actively playing, partly becauseā¦
- Get used to the idea that your starting team is terrible.
What you start with likely wonāt be completing the first full province of the map, or getting closeā¦ either at all, or ānot worth it.ā
Ditto with the starter āquestā for dragon!food and dragon!iron chests, beyond the first level.
Basically all your damage will come from those bomb-launching sites on the board.
The starting team can just about autoplay 1-1ā¦ but will sometimes fail. Having said that, thereās not much else to do with your dragon!worldenergy in the very early going. (Besides, youāll probably need a berjillion 
cubic zirconia pans and I-can-totally-believe-itās-not-butter fish or whatever eventually anyway.)
Also, the starting team, if raid-matched up with anyone whoās been summoning dragons? Fahgeddaboutit.
You can of course start leveling your dragon!Bane, but thatās food you probably can ill afford in the very early game while upgrading buildings that yield dragon!food and dragon!iron.
[Update to add]: SG has been throwing some more silver-coin free summons, and that starts making the dragon grind at least moderately more feasible ā between the silver coins in in-game mail, and the PoV 3, itās at least possible to quickly get to five 3* dragons now without paying. (Good luck leveling them, though, since thatās pretty much the province of dragon!trainingcamp.)
- Take a page from really base gameplay: focus on upgrading resources as much as possible.
Moreso because map gameplay āmore than the base gameā probably doesnāt get you much unless youāve paid for better dragons. (And even if you have, it still takes resources to level, much less ascend them.)
Get used to farming levels, especially finding out what you can autoplay. Even with the added free pulls, itās harder to get far on a starter free pack here than it was F2P main game (not least of all with trainer dragons being so few).

And yes, this game within the game is really confusing; canāt seem to understand the purpose, it simply doesnāt make sense.
Guess for new comers to the game, the dragon environnement would be more attractive (more modern etc), while for the existing gamers, itās total confusion?

no choice but to develop the dragons?
Iām just going to take a guess, but:
There is set of big spenders that is not used to waiting for much of anything in the base game. (See, e.g., how fast big accounts acquire and 100% max 0.1% heroes.)
Now, thereās this side game, where you have to wait for like, everything, arguably quite a bit more than the base game.
unlessā¦.
Now, will enough big spenders bite, and was it worth it for SG to cripple development in the main game for so long? And will content development in the main game actually pick up at all now?

2 members of my alliance have quit the game because the new game within the game.
This is, with all the words, CRAP.
We need more buildings, etc.

Think mine was at zero the last time I checked.
Mine went from zero to 33, and then back to 33.
Last loss netted zero trophies for the winner. Hope his loot was good.
I almost forgot how impossibly tedious it is to play map stages with a risk of dying. Maybe Iāll be able to gather a team full of dragons that are able to survive the first few stages on autoplay if I just wait for free summons at some point. Before that Iāll just leave this on the back burner for now.
