donā€™t pre upgrade unless needed for tier. donā€™t waste them already. play it smart. iā€™m 1 away from tier14 as f2p
also, are you sure you canā€™t upgrade another 1/1 dragon to assist skill 2?

itā€™s just his hand

update: and in 15h itā€™s done

This is a fascinating and very different perspective to my outlook - thanks for giving me another way to look at it. I guess I was focusing more to understand the effort required to level up DS within a week (what would I realistically expect) - ironically, I wasnā€™t so focused on the welcome mission.

In hindsight, the access to the trainers was a smart move given the lack of feeders from the map levels. Compounding matters, given the excessive time to research within the hatchery- compared to simply leveling- again, maybe not the smartest move from the outset.

I know the game is full of all kinds of magical sh it, with potions, mana, dragons, and all kinds of crazy hero abilities, but the clouds in the map bug me. Why are they included? Donā€™t they move, or even change shape with the rising air? Do they indicate a snapshot of what the world looked like at a set point in time?

does the map represent an extension of the season one world, with Elena looking on? Does the map view just indicate a higher S1 elevation, possibly from an adjacent continent? Why are the provinces called areas, especially if height in involved? Do the stages represent floating, dragonspire-type islands? If so, why donā€™t they move around? How does it all work? What are the clouds hiding?

Today i started focusing on iron/gem storage Iā€™m going for base 10 then ill work on fish and training campsā€¦

I canā€™t finish the quest. Stage 4 has too strong bosses for my team 26k power. And it costs 16 energy.

yes stage 4 isnĀ“t easy, but I managed. How many healers are you using? I use 3 healers and then boost tile damage with Krio and Solis and those fireballs really kill stuffā€¦ So damage isnĀ“t the problem, but those autohits really hurtā€¦
havenĀ“t managed the last step yet myself, but I just got the first ascension on 3 of my heroes, maybe thatĀ“s enough to give the last one another try.

But of course itĀ“s a quest, it shouldnĀ“t be too easy. If I could finish a quest with unlevelled 3star Dragons, it would be called a walk in the park
I actually think being able to finish it without at least 5 maxed 3star Dragons would be too easy. So I hope I wonĀ“t be able to finish for a while. Have to keep some goals. The map was a challenge with trainer Dragons early on, but now with all the free 3star Dragons itĀ“s become easy to finish the 3 provinces. And in PvP well itĀ“s not possible to compete high up so I just bottom feed, which is easy enough.

Solis definitely helps. Heals, gives a very decent increase in ATK with a -25% accuracy. Use the assist spaces and enemies melt away. I use one other healer as well and completed the current challenge without issues or item usage. While I have yet to pull a 5* dragon, I do have a decent spread of 3* and 4*. Run a 2-2-1 team and focus on matching those three colors.

Weā€™ve been gifted some flasks for Dragonspire. Are you using them right away to speed up early leveling and gain an advantage? Or are you saving them for a specific challenge or farming event? Or are you just not interested in farming and therefore saving them?

What are you doing with your flasks?
  • Use now
  • Save for future farming
  • Never going to use

Havent used a flask. Ive got enough WE to run a few farming levels every few hours. That will do for now. I see no need to rush. My available dragons probably arent worth levelling any way

Iā€™d only use a flask now if there was a very specific need, such as to get enough stone to get on with a building level up.

I used one today so far to track down these elusive ascension material (feathered headdress). Spoiler alert: I still didnā€™t get them  Dragon(unin)spired

Havenā€™t used them, donā€™t plan on it as Iā€™ve done 1 map stage, 1 time and 0 raids.

Going to collect them like old sneakers. Iā€™ll put them in virtual plastic cases and display them in my virtual curio cabinet.

They will go well with all my NFTs and printed bitcoins.

Dear SGG,
could you please stop forcing us to waste resources?
After some leveling there is virtually no reason to use battle items in the current dragonspire content and the crafting resources feel pretty scarce as is. having to throw away the little I can get just to progress through the welcome package feels really badā€¦

Yeah it was annoying having to waste so many, I think to finish the whole thing you have to waste about 15 to 20.

We need may more ascension materials to drop from levels. I am not getting any from doing 40 different levels. I canā€™t level my 4* star dragons I bought past lvl 50 so why would I buy more?

Also I donā€™t like having more buildings to build than you gave us spaces for. I didnā€™t know why I put down a fishery at lvl5 that I couldnā€™t then put down a mine. So now I am a mine short and canā€™t switch the fishery or anything else to a mine. At least I donā€™t see a way. Thatā€™s lame.
