I burned some EHT’s at Sand Empire chasing Rana and Yunan (I already have Roc). I didn’t get either one, but I did get Devana. I will immediately max her.

I feel your pain. I can max a number of good 5* including Devana and Elizabeth and Lord Loki and Malicna etc etc…… However I have Zero Damascus Blades lol

Well, I just went fishing, didn’t catch the fish (which is probably just as well), Odin was the real target but didn’t get him either, got the lady with the lynx though 
I have 14 darts and the only rivals are dupes or Owl, unless Viv’s costume turns up (she’s at 3.70). Liking Devana already, she reminds me of the WoW hunter which was always my favourite class. Can’t wait to charge up the big cat with added Frosth factor.
I should have realised actually, I seem to specialise in pulling s3 when they’re not featured. If I really wanted Odin I should have waited until next month. That wouldn’t have helped to snag the July HOTM though, obviously.

While so many were criticising Elradir, I chose to max him as my second green 5* after Frigg. Happy to see one more argument about how useful he can be

I got her yesterday and I’m wondering if she would pair well with Freya? Anyone tried her out yet? So far I haven’t been able to find too many vids of her being used. Wondering if it’s too early in the month yet.
You can use frosth and get an extremely beefy lynx
Was thinking about him too. Have to finish leveling him before I can try him out with her.
Or even better, both Freya and frosth for a super jacked lynx

LoL, I just locked my 3rd Elradir, who I was planning to feed away to Yang Mei who got the rings earlier today…
Now will take my 2 & 3 Elradirs to 3/70 gradually, while first fellow is waiting at 3/70 behind costume Lianna… & this vid makes me wonder if I speed him up as their is no crazy need for Lianna right now with Frigg, Kingston & Hatter doing the job currently…

My personal playing style usually doesn’t incorporate snipers, although I use a handful in my heavy stacking teams where snipes + tile damage sometimes are enough to take out heroes. I have a couple of Liannas and a Lianna costume and they don’t get used any more. Outside of tile damage 2 good snipers (usually requiring 8 tiles) can generally take out 1 opposing hero… and 3 Elradirs (usually requiring 9 tiles) will wipe out 5 opposing heroes in 2-3 turns, when the opposing team is chosen wisely. Far more bang for buck there. Similarly with Frigg, Hatter, Almur… you generally are more effective with support heroes and multi hitters. But again, it’s a personal playing style.
In your position I would do Elradir over C Lianna. Frigg, Hatter, Elradir would be effective even without his reflect, and he would make everyone faster. If you add Almur to that mix even better. And of course you can do the 3 elradir team when you just feel like laughing maniacally at watching your opponents literally disolve in front of your eyes
You said it. Exactly the reason, I collected these last HOTMs for that small mana in a 3+ stack colour, + their other specials being fairly good. Only missed Malicna.
With one tonic to go, I have thought about ascending Elradir & Lmao 
watching your video made it clear, as I too don’t use snipers a lot & mainly fight with my support heroes helping each other out,

LoLo plays that multi-role (mid-field playmaker as in soccer) as per the moment in my over all play.
Writing this, I am realising to change few hero sequences in my 3/70 waiting list… to give those final mats.
Example…I have both Almur & Evelyn, so 2 Elradirs with 2 FriGGs would make 2 good Nature teams with EDD / DD / Elradir special !

well as I expected, im quite disapointed by Devana, she does lot of things but not good at any thing
-dmg to 3 but output is too low to make any difference
-dispell is great but facing def like freya with def buff her dmg is even more ridiculous,
-buffy minion that can remove target’s minions…well problem is facing bera/freya there is 5 hero with 5 minions, she can only remove 1 hero’s minion every turn…and only if the minion hits a target with minions, otherwise its useless
-abilities to resist minions is great but again her “counter minion” is mostly useless
-element link its great as we know, especially facing those bera/freya, can counter their mana reducing
dvpers put too much skills for her but all together its not working well, she is not balanced
Bad at defense, not working well enough in attack
she needed at least 1 change to be more usefull, either a dispell first before attacking or a less beefy minions for her allies to make these minions a real counter to all minions summoner
thankfully i had 40 darts so its not a big deal, she’ll sit on my bench forever hunting the salmon loki

I’m just gonna go ahead and disagree with ya right here.
I’ve been using her not even fully leveled in raids against freyas, frosths, teams with all the Christmas 5s with great success. I’m kicking myself for not taking videos.
Ive even chosen her for war attacks over fully leveled 5s with emblems because of her usefulness.
I find her damage dealing more than adequate, especially against the new formations in raids.
I like the dispel, beefy minions, mana gain, resistance to beras annoying poison damage, all of it. I stripped seshats emblems to give to devana because I find her more useful in the current meta.
I used my darts for her over uraeus and I’ve been very pleased with my choice.
Maybe you have better hero’s than I, but ive found she fits nicely in my roster.
Not trying to argue, just giving readers another perspective.

nothing to expect from HOTM nowadays. if She is the hero of the challenge event then she will be fast for special skills. DMG 300%. minions for all friends
Exaggeration much? You have described a hero that would be literally the most OP hero in the game if ever released. If you want to argue I would suggest keeping some perspective

I have been too busy with other projects to level mine up yet, but I agree with you based on what I see on paper.
Damage is nice, pretty much on par with other hit 3s.
Dispel is a rare skill and super handy in this day and age of buffs - I would say buffs are more prevalent and impactful than debuffs these days.
The minion is not mean to be a minion counter, but rather a self preservation mechanism that also helps to mitigate minion waves. It amounts to what is essentially a very decent self overheal which is impervious to Bera minions, which has a mini DOT and which can prevent you from being overrun by fast minion generators. I actually think she would pair very well with Noor - one self-spawned Noor minion and one Devana lynx working together actually would be a pretty decent minion counter.
The elemental link is of course probably the best elemental link in the game, if you stack a few yellows together. And is a great counter to the mana cut of Freya and Bera (also Neith, although you don’t see many of those around these days).
I think she is far more useful than Seshat, who to me is super overrated.
Too many people these days are too narrow focused on the pure numbers around damage dealing, and aren’t able to perceive the impact and benefits of support and utility skills.
