Gazelle then Devana for sure, that will even out your mono team and provide a lot of synergy. If you had costumes Leaonidas I’d say him as well.
As a GG owner, 100% her. Literally one of the top 3 offensive heroes in the game in my opinion. Never leaves any of my teams anymore.

Just wish she was fast
Ranger class suits her well, she has a chance to bypass the defensive buffs before her hit.

If she is an event hero rather than a HOTM, she will be at fast and doing 270-290% damage instead.

I used to dread facing Bera (Freya not so much since she’s more forgiving), but ever since I maxed my Skadi and put 15 nodes on her I actively hunt for Bera tanks now. My go to team is cKiril+20 LB, Frida+19, Skadi+15, Gazelle+19, Garnet+19.
9 blue tiles is all I need to get the winter party started, and if the board is feeling generous, then I usually wait until Gazelle is up and Bera has fired a second time, to make sure I can get the full 10 stacks on everybody. I practically stop paying attention after that and just watch the defense freeze to death in 3-4 turns lol.
But now that I’ve pulled Devana (she is very close to 3/70, I’m gonna hem-haw for a few days before pulling the trigger on darts since I only have 8), I may try to fit her into my yellow stack instead since she directly counters the stupid Vanaheim mana cut with her elemental link, and she’s only the second yellow dispeller after cViv so she her utility cannot be overstated.
With how much she’s doing with her special, if she was fast she’d be OP. At the very least that elemental link will need to be reworked to something relatively useless (like summon a minion with 5% HP), and most likely the lynx minion part will be deleted (effectively rolled into the useless elemental link).

Yes but as mine are so early in their ascension the hit is likely to kill them. But once more advanced that is a viable strategy
She is not OP now but giving minions to all would most definitely make her OP.
Not really getting how she is that situational ad most aspects of her skill are applicable everywhere
- decent hit 3
- dispel
- mana gain elemental link
- Very strong minion
- minion can’t be blocked from spawning nor can it be auto killed off therefore greatly increasing survivability
Only the auto minion killing part is really situational and these days in most defences you can find some minion or another to take out.
I haven’t played yet her but I’d give her a solid b+ or a-

True, HOTMs used to be excellent.
Yeah I don’t have any minion killers, other than her now. I’ve summoned like a mofo for months and got absolute garbage. Last decent hero I got was C Kadi from HA and before that Mr Fogg. That’s from hundreds of pulls since March.

Sort of regretting it now, but still, would I really have levelled more than one? Probably not. Perhaps it’s good I haven’t got Devana this early in the month - as long as I get one before it’s too late (please please RNG!!!), there’s no dilemma about what to do with dupes. More than one I’d probably hold onto, see how she goes. More than two - expensive food. Sad when some people would have loved to have one HOTM, I got extra and don’t appreciate it. That’s life though.

Normally there us not much beyond beyond hoping one day they will be worth something, if sg ever implements a good duplicate recycling system.
Elradir is a rare exception where his special essentially stacks with itself to devastating effect. Plusnit bypasses taunt. And counter. And any buffs. And c kad dodging. And he is functionally fast with just a level 5 mana. Will level mine to at least 4/80 and 2 at 3/70 for those teams with jf or gm or similar
Devana might be worth running with a duplicate as 2 would be quite a bit more effective as minion counters, if that is how you want to use her

Yeah, I just wish I’d read your analysis when I still had two of them. Ah well, too late now (until he starts popping up in Atlantis etc next year).
If Devana is very good I’m more likely to want a second for different war/NT teams than to use them together, though that would be an option. Pairing her with Frosth would be terrific. Have to pull her first of course…!

Yep when they are mature that would work. Mine ate just fledgelings who will likely get killed by the upfront hit
