Decision made…Emblem path for Hel?

I’m breaking open the wallet and getting that tabard tomorrow…

Lots of competition for ranger emblems…

When I raid with strong purple, I usually use Clarissa, Sartana, cRigard with Heim and another green.Clarissa and Sartana don’t stack but I work around that. Sesh would replace Sartana in that group, and also in my purple 4-1 for war. Sesh would give me a noticeable improvement for equalizer war.

Hel would be a better Proteus, but I have Prot x2. Would serve the same capacity as above but I could strip Sartana and emblem her up easier than Sesh. I can power level her to 3.70 by tomorrow so that’s not an issue.

Other than her element link I’m not sure if Malicna even worth mentioning but welcome input from anyone who thinks otherwise.

And then Chakk. And Obakan… umm no

Initially I was going to say I think Seshat is the best answer, but Hel is a good contender. I think you’ve done a good job weighing that option. I’d go Seshat.

Hel would be my choice since you already have sartana as sniper. She is too much of a game changer to be disregarded.

I love my seshat but I would trade her for a Hel.

I have 5 Seshats, 3 fully leved, one at 20 emblems. Was my first HOTM. YES on Seshat!

Harder decision than I originally thought but I likely would go with Sheshat, although I certainly wouldn’t feel guilty going with Hel either

Sheshat would give you another fast sniper ( can never have to many of those) but also a fast dispeller too. I place a lot of value on fast dispellers, as there are many odins and sifs out there that must be disarmed fast if you want to stand a chance. You have Sabina to dispel as well but it’s average speed, and even with emblems/costume she can be fragile.

Sheshat is one of the few premium heroes I got and she is excellent (also likely biased) and could be a good defensive option if you can luck into some emblems.

Don’t have Hel(at the top of my wish list) but do have protus and love the skill set. So maybe emblem availability is something strongly consider.

I totally forgot Seshat dispels… I have no 5* dispeller (hence the “other green” is usually Caedmon, who actually survives a bit longer since I finally got costume last time)

I know what I would do, hel without question. I was never a huge sniper fan and hel with her skill is just super useful for me (I have at the moment 2 proteus, hel and Alfrike full, so not short on Manacontroll but would probably do a second hel before first seshat if I would ever have to choose)

But I can see and understand the love for seshat and if someone plays a lot with sniper heroes she is probably better.
Also if I haven’t overlooked something I haven’t seen a single 5* dispeller in your rooster. There seshat could find a nice spot in many of your teams. I suffer the lack of 5* dispellers in most buff booster tournaments and wars.

I would say a close call, both are great and I don’t think you will have to regret either choice.

but nice confirmation that I’m not blind, there aren’t any dispellers

I’m not strong on mana control (recently acquired Chao costume) so I haven’t really learned how to use it. My play style is usually beat them up before they go off, cleanse/dispel/heal/repeat. But that’s not particularly effective against certain heroes. I reroll a lot to get that daily diamond chest…

One vote for Seshat. I absolutely love this hero. I’m always using her on offense.

I have both Seshat and Hel, I use Hel a lot more then Seshat. But you can’t go wrong with either, depending on your play style. Seshat is a good dispeller and that’s about the only time I use her. I use Hel on almost every event and any team that is using Dark heroes.

Hel is the one hero which I’m still
Hoping to get. If you have so much competition for ranger emblems go with hel she is worth those tabards. I love seshat also and I have two seshat fully levelled. She is the last one standing in most of the raids.

I do not have Hel, I like my Seshat, and I have 2x Proteus+19 and 2x maxed unemblemed Proteus.
Even have 4x Proteus maxed, in this case I would max Hel 1st, then Seshat.
I can not imagine a 5* sturdy Proteus, direct damage instead of poisons.

My opinion on seshat from elsewhere

Seshat vs Lepiota

I think with it being between Hel and Seshat I’d go Seshat, don’t think there is particularly any wrong choice between the 2 though

I’d go Hel by a slight edge. Both are amazing and if you had other minion makers I’d probably ascend Seshat.

I’d also go with Hel, since snipers/ direct manage dealers are much more common. On the other hand Seshat is not a bad choice either.

With hel you will probably never again reroll double formation, shutting down the whole defense for 3 turns sometimes feels like a cheat code

Hel. it doesn’t matter if you already have two Proteus; you can never have too much mana control.

Seshat is an “eventually,” but for right this second, i say Hel.

:scream: :scream: :scream: :scream: :scream:

Seshat:

  • fast (charge in 8 tiles or 7 with level 23 mana troop and Ranger+8, except I don’t have quite enough to get to +8 without stripping someone I use a lot…)

  • dispels tgt+nb

  • sturdy with minions as meat shields

  • element link 4% mana nondispellable (how does this compare to “small amount of mana”?)

Hel:

  • Average - charge in 9 tiles with level 23 mana troop

  • mana control extraordinaire (if I find 3 purple matches before she’s dead)

  • I have more available wizard emblems

Soooo… kinda leaning toward Hel just for the emblem availability difference as the tiebreaker…
