Setting the Defense
To Emblem or Not to Emblem
A 4* tournament with no red? First two choices are easy - Buddy +18 and Gaderius +19. Also, green 4* troop was last I received so my 3* troops are good in green.
After these two, it gets confusing. Do I go all green? Do I rainbow the other colors? Do I tank my green or double flank?
Part of me wishes I had Kashhrek so I could tank him with Buddy and Gaderius as flanks. But my Kashhrek is only 3.60 so thatās a no go.
I considered Hansel or Peters or Caedmon. But wasnāt sure if this was best.
I also considered a defense bonus using Atlantis heroes Triton and Proteus. These two have emblems so it seems a wise choice - done.
But now who do I use? Iām not a fan of the 4* yellow. I have a Rigard whoās +18 or my greens. Ultimately, I picked the emblemed Rigard. Letās see how this works!

Woooohhh I found a team for my attacks that fits allā¦up to now.
3 dispellers might be a bit too much, but itās working:
Kiril (healing, mighty 2 buffs)
Melendor (healing, dispel without getting hurt)
Hansel (nenene nooo specialā¦hurt yourself 
)
Caedmon (fast sniper, dispel)
Sonya (fast sniper, dispel)
Green is neutral against green and strong against blue - Iāve seen many Borils and Kirils. And blueā¦okay, weak against green, but neutral against all others, just wanted Kirilās buffs 
Strongest team I went against was 3839 with Kiril +17, Rigard +20, Li Xiu +12, Gadeirus +20, Tibs +11
thought about switching green to yellow, but then I wouldnāt have a second healer, the problem of slow Hu Tao and the problem, that mana cut and Gretel donāt go well together - oh and 2 dispellers less for Gad & Kiril.

Triton +7, Caedmon +4, Li Xiu +7, Cyp +3, Kiril +10 (TP: 3563)

In my opinion, Buddy is anyway the best epic tank. What makes him this rule then, if red is not allowed? 
I will use all my EHT between 1-4 January. I donāt want anything else. But I wonāt be upset with a MN

My alt just got attacked by a 3800 TP. If any tank is nearly as good as Buddy, that is a costumed Li. More damage, faster andā¦ rogue.

So for I have gotten attacked twice, one win one loss. So standing at lvl B currently. I have not attacked yet. I will do so later today when my raid chest is ready.
Off to a good start! Undefeated on both offense and defense so far. But iām Under no illusionsāit will get harder. Nonetheless iām Happy to at least start off well.

Gandalf tank with costume and emblems doing really well so far. Def/health build. Heās amazing on offense as well, 5-0

Will given it a go, but estimate zero success. Have a whole 3 green 4 star to choose from all std.
Have 10 red 4* though 
. They can watch in despair.
Can only muster:
Sonya, Wu, Krashek, Ribs and Chao
Only lightly emblemed except Krash as Hel deserves them a lot more. Easy pickings.
Day 1 attack 3-2: first attack a sea of red and purple very useful in another tournament
