Which path did you end up taking and what is your feedback?
I am in the same situation as you back then and leaning towards the defense especially that he is a wizard and can dispell by tiles in addition to his SS.
Both paths in this thread look good at 75/+20
All my Druid emblems went on Myoin Ni, so Im still trying to build up enough to max him out. Currently on 300.
How many does a 4* need in total to complete the path?

I have enough for him and I think I will take the attack path so that the plain version goes defense path⌠I like the direct heal more than HoT.

yup, any hero with the Superior Wizard talent can do this - as of now, thatâs any Wizard S1 base/costume with +20 emblems.
Got Melandors other costume now. Any thoughts on him? Is he useful or does superior wizard talent mean the C1 is always best?
Majority of voters think second costume is superior. Iâm guessing folks value attack up > defense up.
I even use base version from time to time when immediate health gain is needed.
The idea of one of his costumes âalwaysâ being better than the others misses the value of each.

But I see the other side when someone is expected to pull a card again, and develop it more, if it is not âbetterââŚ
Why bother.
Another addendum to that is when they do pull it but already have a legendary that does the same thing.
A successive anything being âbetterâ will wildly mutate after seen through thousands of different roster lenses.

The perk to epics will always be availability. I think most epics look fantastic with beer goggles on.
