	Special Boost	At the start of each turn, this Hero’s Special Skill deals an additional +30% damage for 6 turns. In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

Ability: Glass 60% extra chance to reflect status ailments back to the attacker.

Special Skill: Glass Spear
Deals 420% damage to the target and minor damage to nearby enemies. The attack bypasses defensive buffs. (This includes counterattacks.) Heals the caster for 37% of damage dealt.

Classic Family

Heroes become stronger when teamed up with unique heroes of the same family.

Classic Family Heroes need to be fully ascended to receive the Family Bonus.

Bonus for 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 Heroes:

• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% attack.
• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% defense.
• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% healing.

I just dont understand the point of these glass heroes, they seem so mediocre.

The Toon costumes are better imo, because the elemental damage boost is much more important to a damage dealer than having ailment reflection vs blocking.

But even the toon versions of most of these S1 heroes are a bit outdated, and cards like Obaken and Elkanen arent amazing these days. Even the best toons like Richard and Vivica arent really in the top meta anymore.

So what do we have? A worse version of the toon costumes that seems to exist only go give the toons a bit of. a stat boost . And if you are “lucky” enough to actually pull this, then you are faced with having to spend months levelling up four (!) costumes, not to mention the crazy amount of ascension mateirals required

what they are trying to achieve? It would be better if the Glass heroes had some kind of thematic modification of the special skill (like the toons doing elemental damage and making buffs undispellable). But even then, why make people level up four costumes just to get a hero that is still not as good as the recent meta heroes.

The only thing I can come up with is that either they are massively overrating how good reflectoin is, or I’m massinvely underrating it.

It’s not just about the Glass costume, I’m looking at it as a boost to their stats, it’s individual to the player which costume - toon, glass etc they use.

With the stats boost they remain relevant and as those S1 heroes are so easily available it makes the costumes extremely worthwhile imo.

A stat boost sure, but they could have done something vaguely interesting with the costume itself., rather than making it worse than the toons.

The toon costumes generally have the same special skill as the base hero, except with higher percentages (and elemental damage+undispellable). They could have made the glass costumes the same as the secondary costumes (with similar bonuses) which would actually have made them interesting since the secondary costumes usually have quite a different special skill than the base.

I agree with you but for F2P players like me, these heroes improve a lot our rosters.

These morning I was lucky to grab him. Elkanen was my second lego hero and he was still unleveled. Now it’s time to do it.
