defense-up Defense Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% defense for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability: Toon
-75% extra chance to resist all status ailments, mana reductions and buff dispels.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Toon Fury
  • All allies get 45% attack, and a further 20% increase every time they are hit during 5 turns. For all Nature characters, this status effect becomes undispellable and lasts 2 turns longer.

Plenty of time to get it to the maximum increase too (something like 4 or 5 increments, forgot the exact value but it should be the same as uncostumed Brienne).

I’m happy they are making her useful… Though not enough for raids or war. I like her first costume for Titans… But… The toon… Not replacing tarlak… Fogg, franz, i guess maybe costume yunan…

Though… Won’t tarlak cap the max attack… So i guess if you didn’t have him.

I saw somebody say that the upcoming toon costumes might be why they nerfed the superior druids and I think this might be one of those reasons if that is a reason. If it hadn’t been reduced this would be a very strong rare hero.

Are the stats mentioned in these posts at the top before or after emblems? I’m thinking before since depending on the path you take can change those stats.

This making the green counter titan team reachig A +85 to 100% easily.
Team with certain Goblins will reach Attack max +140%.

I was planned to feed my Brienne away, but the toon costume make me keep her together with her costume.

Sg has nerfed s2 and s3 costumes for 4 and 3*. Why nerf all the 5* because of the 3*? Just say… New rate for non 5* is… 4%…

Personally… I don’t use any druid season 1… So i won’t notice…

No these are just at max level with certain amount of costumes maxed and limit break finished.

Emblems are going in top of these.

So I have original Brienne at 2LB (no costume), and until the superior druid nerf she was on my raid and war defenses. Cheerfully kept me in Diamond, no problem.

If you don’t have Tarlak / C2 Boldtusk / Shar’Khai, this is an awesome hero. And she’s a lot cheaper to level than any of those, and you’ll catch some players out because they’ll think they don’t need dispel against a lowly 3*. Trust me, you need dispel, unless you like losing to teams with a 3* in them.

That threw me - a toon costume as a secondary costume.
Guess we’re going to be seeing a lot more of these toons.

just pulled her today. my thoughts on the art aside, I will appreciate the upgrades over regular Brienne.

Indeed, she is phenomenal. She and Gunnar worked wonders in the 3* tournament, the rage is crazy good and the toon resistance to ailments is such a relief when facing a charged enemy team after an unfortunate cascade.

In this case defining “Unfortunate Cascade” as an off color cascade that kills no enemies, charges no allies and leaves you biting your nails as you anticipate being wiped out.
