Hello all!
For those that don’t know me I’m a player that started with this game a few months before it went global. It was around that time that the original Coppersky’s Compendium was created. It was a pretty popular guide for new players and there are many broken links for the old version scattered throughout this forum.
I recently returned to the game after a long break, and I got motivated again and did a significant overhaul of the guide. It’s meant to be a fully comprehensive guide for new players with everything in one place and links to some of the major game resources and forum topics. It would also make a good refresher for returning players and has a section for late-game and newer features.
The new short link for easily sharing in-game is bit.ly/CopperskyCompendium
The new original link is Coppersky's Compendium - Empires & Puzzles New Player Guide/FAQ - Google Docs
Because there were so many edits and additions to the Compendium I would love it if other players were willing to make comments on:
- ** other resources to add **
- any errors in information
- any important omissions
- anything that requires more clarity
I have a companion document here for suggestions for the Compendium.
( I will mention that better formatting is coming for the headings once the edits settle down.)
Topics for this guide include:
About Your Base
Buildings
Common Questions about the Base
Heroes
Levelling Heroes
Increasing the Special Skill of a Hero
Ascending Heroes & Ascension Materials
Trainer Heroes

(minor features like the Museum and later-game content that new players don’t necessarily need to focus on right away but should probably know that they exist)

Please take a look at the Compendium, share it, and enjoy!
