Thanks for the further testing. Still a good pair as it is more likely that all heroes activate the buff and the growth increases Cennius’s attack strength.

he need some heroes that gives possibility to bypass defensive buffs and he can be great as counterattack kill him in a second hahah
Bummer it doesn’t work like that when used with G.Hippo or DF. However, I believe there’s an argument concerning hitting a dead enemy though.
Even darks buff damage hits a lot of dead targets. I think the secondary damage of the owl hitting dead target is in line with what happens for the other buff damage dealers. They put is as random target. So until the turn is complete the targets that are pre selected before they are dead are hit dead or alive.

Anyone noticed while using Cennius that he will target enemies on recast that he killed previously? Is the game not smart enough to understand if he kills someone on the first cast to not target a dead enemy? It’s like it’s predetermined when you cast the special which heroes it’s going to target. Seems like a bug.

Q … because his damage is capped at 1000, do you think he’s worth 2LB-ing???

Its not really capped at 1000
With growth/ wither or a damage booster on the target it can go higher.
But yes, i think he is worth it to lb2 , getting his attack stat up as high as possible is best for his flat damage wothout any boosters.

Are you sure? I’m pretty sure with the owl mechanic the damage can’t exceed the maximum damage regardless of stats and growth. If you click on more info it says the maximum damage is 1k.
In last update he is not strong him damages are very weak 300 400 500 to all new héros so he need a buff 1000 too weak he doesnt have any secondry effect

In normal hit he do max 600 700 against holy heros i mean that
As I mentioned in a sister topic, I fear Cennius won’t age gracefully if new hero releases continue gaining 15-20% base stats every half a year.
Won’t take long until he hits the average war defense for 300 tops while they have 5000 hp health bars and 2000 hp minions on top.

I agree he need a buff
That won’t fix much, it’s how owls work, except most of them have a useful secondary effect…
They’d need to either rework the scaling or massively slow down the stat inflation.
