@NonRepentantFury I’m a neat freak, so feel free to tell me to keep my nose out but, do you know how to move your buildings around?
Mine are all nice and tidy, all like-minded grouped together. My husband keeps his all random and scattered around and then asks for my help on something … it drives me crazy but he wont let me change them 
It just might make it easier in the future if you had them arranged a little better for easier viewing.

i have some serious problems with the amount of buildings and the limitations of where they can go. I’m curious to see if you have an OCD solution for me? I’ve got it kinda of placed, but it still bothers the living crap outta me
Even we neat-freaks all seem to have our own preference for placing them. You may want to move them around (since it’s so easy to do), until you find what works best for you. Even if a building is currently under construction it can still be moved, and only takes 10 seconds (I think - it’s been awhile).
The stronghold and tower can’t be moved.
My general plan is to keep all the buildings that are actively producing something at the bottom of my base. Anything inactive, like food storage, etc. I keep near the top of the base.
Yours looks generally very tidy. I just have mine reversed top to bottom, but it’s whatever works best for you - within the limitations of what we have to work with!

@PapaHeavy thanks! It would be out of place for there to NOT be 4 storages at that level so knew it had to be there. Was driving me crazy I couldn’t find it 
Which leads me to @princess1… You’re not the only one that is OCD about her base. I was about to go cross-eyed looking at that base! But then, if it’s not set up like mine, then it’s WRONG
My preference is to put all the ‘collection’ buildings in a strip across the middle. That way, I can collect all my goodies just by swiping across the screen - no need to swipe down and across to get more. Wait… that may just be laziness
