They’re both stellar offensive heroes. I gotta tell you, I stick Brynhild in between Tarlak and Telluria and they are always the last three alive. Makes for corner healers an absolute time warp to get rid of, but c’est la vie. Woolerton is not part of my top 7 yellow heroes and doesn’t get cleric emblems from me (Mist and Rigard much?), but I feel we’re all adept enough to see how useful she can be when the board is, shall we say, unfavorable.
Woolerton and Brynhild are both fantastic 4* heroes. I have both of them on my respective mono teams. I would hate to see a buff or nerf on either one. IMO they are 2 of the best heroes released in a while.
I have both and use Brynhild as part of my green stack raids, but Woolerton sits on the bench most of the time. I did emblem her up and used her at the start, but I never found her overwhelmingly useful compared to Rigard, so I took away her emblems. That brings another point in Brynhild’s favor: she uses Rogue emblems, of which I have plenty, whereas there is a lot of cleric competition, so it’s easier to maximize Brynhild over Woolerton.
I wasn’t convinced by this so checked my hero card and she is only acceptable at the level I have her. You were right! I pair her up with BT on the left wing and Bryn on the flank. Fantastic team up.
When humans turns away from the one they speak TO and insted go to talk OF, we see an example of a bully and smacktalker. Be civil, you win little in life by belittle others.
Im an experienced player and Soul, but I do not know everything.
I do agree the tone of that post was a bit hard. It is possible to disagree without getting personal.
In regards to the self mana block of the cleric talent I have to admit I didn’t know that was a “thing”. I don’t recall seeing it in action although I am sure it must have happened without me noticing it. So you can be an experienced player without knowing all of the ins and outs and intricacies. Which is great, it means we all probably still have some things we can learn.
The mana block function was discussed in the Woolerton thread from the very beginning and therefore has been known (public) for quite a while and hence the sharp tone, asking for a buff before researching the hero is irresponsible:
I like support heroes especially healers to stay alive even in the harshest raids. Brynhild seems already nerfed with these stats, it’s obvious when you’re leveling her. She needs to be maxed before going to battle (on the contrary a hero like Falcon with a very good def stat can be used pretty early in the process).
In my green stack I already have a maxed Melendor (same thing, boosted HP and def with emblems, and now his attack stat does real nice tile damage in my stack).
Woolerton is pretty steady and I don’t think I even noticed that she was too slow to charge after the first one… Of course, it’s a bum to see Jackal and Joon already charged up again when she’s blocked but I need some time to get damage before healing the team one more time.
Joon - Jackal - Woolerton works great for me so far. I think I won’t use Brynhild as much because I already have C. Mel, Telly, C. Lianna…
I have mixrd feeling about bry. I said i one week ago she is useless on attacking. However she is an mvp at everthing 4* releated. My synergy is probably not ok at mono green with her and the others.
That beeing said she is a good hero but no need tp nerf
A link please? I can find no reference to “nerfs”, “buffs” or “balance” for Lady Woolerton at all. I suspect you are basing this claim on base/min level special skills from a hero card being @1/1. When her special skills are at 8/8 she is, I suspect, her healing is likely to be at 40% as per the maxed special skills description.
