I just ascended Hathor and am looking ahead to which 5* I should level next. I want to go with the “best over all in the draft” as I am not looking for a healer, tank or dps in particular.
From my stable, I have Doxan, Neema, Oceanus, Hohenwerf, Skargremar, Isrod and a second Alucard.

Here’s a poll for you. I’ve chosen Oceanus, since he does still pack a hefty punch, and the combinatgion of def up and bolstered strike damage will never do you wrong. He’ll also for sure help out in your titan hits which equals more loot, which equals more heroes.
It does also depend on the rest of your roster, and your playstyle as well though (mono / rainbow / 3-2 / 3-1-1 ). Neema would also be a valid contender for all the taunters out there (if you find yourself facing a lot in wars etc.)

I agree with Oceanus. Useful in so many situations.
Of course in the meantime I drew Brimstone, I believe he would be above Oceanus, no? Thx!
