D : decided, that I am only gonna check every start of the day.

I had one epic win, when I got literally a win by Sobek. I went 2-2-1 had 12 blue tiles at the start, but no green and purple matches. I was able to charge Sobek twice, while not charging my greens and purples once and the heroes in def and he won the game pretty much by himself.

D: 0-2 (already 2 losses, this doesn’t look good haha)

A nice range of defenses to be honest, and I stuck with my same team of 3-2
Sneferu / Lady of the Lake / Ludwig / c2Rigard / Liu Bei

I actually don’t remember losing any of my heroes, and my only problem match was the last one which had Costume vivica (the one that revives), Ariel, and hanitra… those 3 combined were frustrating

The good news is, this helped me do 2 weekly challenges already (defeat 25 in tournament + heal 60,000)

I royally f*ked up my defense on this one. But I guess I’ll be okay since it is a Rush War. Sent out Hippo - Arco - Krampus - Alfrike - Fortuna. I saw no red, so I sent out my blues. Only realized my mistake AFTER the tournament began. Oh well…

Disastrous first day with 3 zeroes and 2 wins in overtime. And I didn’t even face a single Alfrike or Ludwig

It was one of those days where you suspect RNG of holding a grudge against you or something. First match was against an all Green attack with El Naddaha tank. Went with my usual passive Rush attack team of MN - Shrubbear - Matilda - Ludwig - Lepiota. Awful board and once Shrubbear died, El Naddaha’s buff block stopped Ludwig and his wings cold.

Won the next one on extra time, and then lost the next 2. Both matches, the clerics (Celidana) and the monks (Set) just shrugged off Lepiota’s SS repeatedly. On hindsight, maybe I should be more aggressive but it’s Rush so nothing to stress about.

And it didn’t end there, went back to raid to fill my chest and my 5000TP team lost against a 4666 TP defense Hopefully evil RNG is done for the next year or so

Went with a no Reviver defense and it’s 2-0 for some reason…

Better luck everyone! Maybe I took the brunt of RNG’s displeasure

This tournament didn’t start well for me… First I forgot to change the defense I put up in a hurry last night and then due to my own stupid mistakes I lost the fight against this opponent:

But if someone, for example, copies with LoLo a hero under the influence of a furious attack , Rush does not forgive such mistakes… (especially when the board doesn’t spoil ).
On the positive side, at least my “unfinished” defense (I don’t write what it looks like on purpose) started quite well - I wonder how it will go on

D : 0-1 (E) Meh, so super lame. At least if it got more attacks, 0-1 is just lame.

Surprisingly I am yet to lost against Alfrike or Aramis tanks. I lost against Winifred and C2 Leo tanks. Idk why I didn’t copy Lud’s special in the first loss, could have saved me, the other one I just couldn’t even find 6 purple tiles, just horrible board. So that’s pretty much it.

While after the first day I was unhappy with the result of my attacks (failure due to my own mistakes), the result of 9-1 after two days of the 5* tournament looks very good to me.
The boards weren’t very good today, but I had a lot of luck with the matchmaking (no Alfrike today ) and managed to go through the day undefeated.

I scored a 0 on a Dia tank with lb2 Odette flank. Literally all my tiles and specials were constantly being dodged. 45% my ■■■. More like 90%.

What a difference a day makes. Granted, I was facing easier opponents due to 3 losses on Day 1, but would have found ways to lose against weaker teams if it was yesterday. Guess I’m on RNG’s good side again

Switched to a more aggressive attack of Liu Bei - Ferrus - Pengi - Ludwig - Arco. Got lots of Green tiles to start and won the first 3 matches without much stress. That was enough to complete the 25 kills PoG weekly challenge (phew)

Teams got a bit harder after that. Next one was against a LoTL tank with Alfrike flank. Went back to the passive MN - Shrubbear - Matilda - Ludwig - Lepiota team. The board was good and managed to send them both into the Abyss before they could fire. Didn’t even need to reach overtime to win.

Difficulty and points jumped the last match against a 5424 TP team with a Nemesis tank with El Naddaha flank. Continued using the same team, and Shrubbear did his job of dying from a Nemesis hit. Was a bit smarter this time, and sent El Naddaha to the Abyss first so that she couldn’t use her buff block. And with that, managed to survive into Day 3

Defense continued to overachieve, up to 5-1 after 2-1 start.

At a first glance that team didn’t look that bad, no one who does something, beside heal…

But holy ■■■■ were they annoying. Gazelle, Arielle and Prof always cleaning. Gazelle protecting the rest undispellable and the few times without dancing Ariel and profs class protected them successfully from my Manacontroll. Without tie break high damage and a suiciding Alfrike on riposte to give me a place to ghost tiles this would have been the first loss.

Wow E def curse ended, but I doubt that it’s for long… and it’s not a very good way to end the curse, but more points is more points.

The loss was sad… I got myself into a predicament. And I also really keep forgetting that Becky can be an OP savior in rush, she would have saved me from the predicament I was on that loss.

The def was C2 Isarnia, Lud, Alf, Cleo, C MN. I went with LB2 Shrub, 2x CB Kiril (mainly for superior dispel talent against LB2 Lud), Proteus, LoLo, C2 Li Xiu.

I killed Alf and then I tried to slowly mana control everyone and mainly kill the right side. After long minutes of playing. I almost got Cleo and C MN killed, but so sad the board got itself full of green and red which weren’t my colors… I made a red bomb and green diamond explode at the same time and literally none of the matches of my colors matched up during that big match… Cleo and C MN literally after that turn lost the mana control ailment C2 Li Xiu gave them and healed my hard work back… After that I just wasn’t able to recover. Becky + Lud or Lolo copying Lud is an OP combo I should have used here. I lost 8 and a half minutes of my life on this loss.

And the aformentioned combo did save me literally from losing on flag 5 today against a def of Erlang Shen, Liu Bei, Diaochan, Pengi, Hammertusk.
I went 3/2 with 2x CB C Kiril, Becky, Skadi, Lud, Sobek.

Starting board full of green/yellow so I had to find my colors the hard way. I was able to charge Lud before Pengi fired first time, beforehand Diao fired like 4 times already and Pengi had a lot of bonus shots because of that. Lud was meatshielding as much he could and sacrificed himself completely, before I finally found my 6 blue tiles to charge my blues, it felt like I was going to lose, but I 2x charge Becky and then Kiril, Skadi and Sobek and everything that had minions and full HP lied in ashes.

Well, only positive is that this is 2nd 5* tourney in a row I survived 3 days without continuing (I survived 4 days in previous one), but unlike previous one, where I continued just for experimental reasons, I am not going to continue in this one.
