interesting variety of defense teams today. lots of riposte, for which i took Griffin, Aodhan, and cKelile instead of dispel so much, since their damage just bypasses it (except Aodhan’s initial hit). cCaedmon came in handy a couple of times for ailment heavy teams. Aodhan’s not particularly slow, he fired in every battle i took him in, almost as much as cScarlett/cKelile.
defense ok so far, curious to see what happens when it gets more hits on it.

4-1 to start the tournament. Went with a 4-1 Green-Yellow attack Almur - Caedmon/cCaedmon - Anastasia - Anton - Peters. The one loss was against a Li Xiu tank. It was the usual, cascade whenever my heroes were charged and she’ll just cut their mana 
Managed to get rid of her in the end but my remaining Almur just couldn’t beat the opposing Sonya with just his special
Defense hasn’t been attacked yet so far

Started 5-0 on offense. Defense is 1-1.
On offense I’m going griffin, Anastasia with a mixture of Grimm, Sonya, Colen, and Caedmon

First day went well; 5-0.
Few easy matches, last one was hardest. Board started evenly, but quickly dried up. Griffin sniped c-caedmon, but then the board turned and a good cascade cleared out the left. Wilbur actually helped with shared damage and won.
Defense also going strong with 4-0.

Better boards on the 2nd day and no Li Xiu tanks so 5 straight-forward wins. Used the same 4 Green + Anastasia team from yesterday except for the last match. The opponent had a Little John tank with a Caedmon wing, so switched to 4 Red Scarlett - Eichbelborg - Anastasia - Ferant - cColen. Got plenty of Reds there as well.
Defense has only been attacked twice. Won once yesterday and lost once today so hopefully it’ll be tested more soon

only one pet peeve in tournaments which is especially noticable with bloody battles:
the color of heroes that are not allowed should also mean that tiles of this color will not appear!
twice i lost due to my first two-three tilesets were 80% purple, not being able scoring even a single hit on the enemy, simply charging up their mana and have them hit me! since you cant heal in bloody battles my heroes will have recieved hits and special by the time i could finally begin!
Not fun at all.
Day 2: 4-1. One match was mediocre in my tiles and remained that way. Corner Wren hit hard and sniped 2 heroes… still not enough tiles, but at least got the center.
One match had a franz tank. I didn’t even stack against him, but took sonya and caedmon in costume and cleansed it away.
Defense is at 2-2 today, but yesterday 4-0 makes it 6-2 total.

Tough day- went 3-2. Now 8-2 overall. One lose was due to a bad board. Other loss was against 4400 level team. Pretty high for a 4* tournament

Took my hits late today because i filled up my raid chest first thing this morning. Used my defense team for all battles today, and it worked really well, but there was one battle where the board went very poorly for me after a good opening and while the board turned around at the end, it was too late to recover. very close though. screenshots of that below.
pretty happy with my defense. and since they work well on offense too, all that iron and food i dropped to emblem them up might have been worth it. in 1% right now with 6904.

Go with same tactic. The board is bad today.
1st attack against C Boril tank, the board is pretty bad. At least, the tank isn’t very powerful. Lose 3 heroes in that battle.
2nd attack against this team
I go with 3 green 2 yellow. The board is very bad. 1 diamond for each red, blue and purple. Those diamond charge x2 of enemy Anastasia and enemy Hu Tao. My team suffer from the damage. At least, the board turn at the end. Bid cascade of green and yellow come. Take down enemy tank and 2 flank and damage enemy wing to less than 33% hp. Sadly, Anastasia’s fiend chew all heroes to death at the end
3nd attack against this team
I go with 3 green 2 yellow. The board is very bad in different way. No diamond for any color. Get 6 green and 6 yellow at start. But after that, enemy Li Xiu always cut my mana every times I charge them until all enemy charge and fire. That is the end. At least, I get enough tile to kill tank

The 2 last attacks are better. The board is average. No Li Xiu or Anastasia tank, so no problem.

Now, I understand why Li Xiu is so powerful tank in this tournament

O : 5-0 (13-2)
Go with same tactic. The board is average today. Face some Lix Xiu tank. Every time I face her, I usually lose at least 1 heroes . At least, the board is good enough for me.
D : 66.7% (30+)
My defense
I found that Lv.15 2* defense troop is actually a bit better than Lv.20 3* defense troop in bloody battle 
In bloody battle, %heal is useless (It is actually almost useless in normal situation as well ). %Atk isn’t much useful for tank.
Lv.20 3* defense troop give more %Def but Lv.15 2* defense troop give more %Hp.
Overall, Lv.20 3* defense troop give %Def + %Hp = 20 + 5 = 25. Lv.15 2* defense troop give %Def + %Hp = 16 + 10 = 26. 1%Overall more than Lv.20 3* defense troop
I know that isn’t accurate comparison but I think both %Def and %Hp are important in about the same level.
And with my Lv.15 2* defense troop (16%Def,10%Hp) and my LB Li Xiu with full health path
She will have [1564 x 1.1] = 1720 health in total. My Li Xiu is simply meat shield (Actually, her defense isn’t bad. [816 x 1.16] = 946 not as high as most LB Li Xiu+20 but not very low like Gormek )
Have you ever see 1700+ hp Li Xiu ?

Mixture of good and bad today. First match was tough against a Mist tank flanked by Mack and Ferant. Went 3B-2Y with Zila Lei - Mist - Anastasia - Grimm - Sonya. Couldn’t stop Mack from firing and lost ZL to a cascade of blue tiles. But Anastasia’s minions and Mist blocking Ferant was just enough to win it.
The next 3 were easier but lost the last one against a Marcel - Wren - Gormek - Griffin - Sonya team. Went back to my 4 Green + Anastasia team. Took care of the left side of the opposing team, but Gormek fired multiple times and left my team easy pickings for the 2 snipers on the right. Maybe I should have used my Blue team again…
Defense is doing well at 5-2 (A) so still firmly in top 1% despite the 2 losses so far

Day 3:

Really mixed up the teams on offense today because there was a very different mix of ailments, riposte, and other specials to counter. Used an all green team against a mostly blue team, my defense with Mist thrown in against a Ferant tank, and a couple of mostly blue teams against red/blue/yellow mixes including one with both cCaedmon and cSonya against a Franz tank for the double cleanse. the neat part is Zila Lei got some play today and was quite useful actually. with Grimm, you can get defense down on the whole team and that works well.
defense untouched today, still at 6-3. currently in 1% with 11145.

Day3: 5-0 again. 14-1 total. A few good boards, a few teams with healers and even the slow starts turned in time.
Defense doing less well, lost 2 today. However, total is at 6-4 total, still still at A. Hopefully it’ll start winning again.

Day 3 is here. 4 win 1 lost. Lost was my fault. I made bad decisions. I underestimated Rokkamush. He supposed to have 50% change to miss. He did not miss any on his first hit.
So far 14-1.
This is my best 4* Bloody Battle score so far.

Go with same tactic. The board is pretty good today. No Li Xiu or Anastasia tank today. Face many S1 defense. Face 2 Ferrant tank but the board is good enough to dispell him. So, 5 straight win today 
D : 67.6% (30+)
This is probably my best defense result ever in 4* bloody battle with 30+ total attack

Good boards today and wasn’t in danger of losing any of the matches. Switched between my Green (Almur - cCaedmon - Anastasia - Anton - Peters) and Blue (Zila Lei - cKiril - Anastasia - Grimm - Sonya) teams. Toughest matches were the last 2 against a Li Xiu tank and a Ferant tank but got the correct tiles and cascades just in time. Anastasia’s minions are a real life-saver
Defense is holding on to A (7-4) at the moment so still in top 1%
