Which levels do you run in AL?

Hello everyone. I just started the upgrade from lvl 4 AL to lvl 5 . I know up from there i can do 2 trasmutations at the same time.
Which lvls do you run? Do you run those lvls to farm alkashards or only because they are the best in terms of material outcomes?
