Which Jahangir is better for tournaments? With or without a costume?

A question like the topic title - which Jahangir would be better for 3* tournaments - with costume or without costume? I am mainly interested in tournaments of the rush type but others as well.

I point out that I am referring to Jahangir having +20 talents (I have many emblems for him).

  • Jahangir without costume +20
  • Jahangir with costume +20

I’ve had better luck with costume. C-Hawkmoon - Sudri - C Jahangir…Lights out.

For Rush I strongly prefer without costume because the 20th node can bring him down to 6 tiles which is quite the differentiator in Rare rush tournaments.

Came here to say this. Outside of rush I rarely use him, but if so do I usually go with the costume because I like the picture better (seriously)

classic

  1. burning damage is cleanseable, so take the dealing damage 1st
  2. if a board in rush war is lucky, you wont have to wait for 4 turns for the burning damage, so still prefer dealing damage.

To be honest I now only use him every now and again and mainly without costume.
Even with the “extra” in costume he only comes out during “Rush” ……
He will probably get a 2nd Costume soon to make him a little better … :wink:

With costume on def team and without for offense because he only need 6 tiles with max emblems

And which path have you chosen for your Yahangir - attack or defence?

I will be attacking with 4+1 or mono teams and am wondering which path to choose :slight_smile:

Attack > D > HP. He has a high attack stat. I use him in challenge events too where I value attack.

Jah with costume bonus is preferred. His initial hit is harder. With 3* speed is everything. You can’t always wait for the burn to kill

I’m wondering if I only want to use it in 3* tournaments and in 4+1 or mono teams, wouldn’t the def+life path be better in my case? The damage from tiles should probably be high enough in such lineups anyway?

That’s one way to go. I understand the logic but it’s not what I do.
