For the first time in 3 months, we’re off our waitlist and have one spot available!
With busier schedules for many members as we head into the holidays, we’re currently hovering around 11* Titans with some 10*. We’ve previously been as high as 13*, but are enjoying a bit of a breather at the moment.
War is optional and opting out is totally fine and encouraged when desired — but if you’re in, be all in, and use all flags, and communicate and coordinate with the alliance strategy.

Because we’re a semi-casual and semi-competitive alliance, it’s always been our intention that War can be optional, but that if you’re opted in, to be fair to the rest of the team, you use all flags, and try to coordinate with our farming strategy if possible.
After discussion amongst the leaders over the last few weeks, we wanted to make that intention clearer.
We wanted to first off remind everyone that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with opting out of War.
No one should ever feel pressure or obligation to stay opted into War. I myself have opted out when I’m busy or needed a break, and I encourage everyone else to do the same. It really can be nice to have a break when you need or want one, so you can enjoy War and not burn out.
No one should feel like they’re letting the alliance down, not participating adequately, or taking up a spot in the alliance because they opt out of War. You should always feel free to opt in or out as much as you want, based on whatever works for you.
That can mean opting out once a week, once every now and then, or even all the time. Whatever works for you is totally great. You should decide that based on what you find fun and rewarding, and not feel pressured either way.
If you do opt in, it’s important that you fully participate.
War is a team effort — a single person using their last flags can rescue an impending close loss into a narrow and satisfying victory. We win when we’re all in it together.
Because of that team effort, in order to be fair to the efforts of others, we’re instituting a clearer policy about expectations and follow-up for War participation.
If you are opted in, you must be able to use all 6 flags, and coordinate your efforts with the rest of the team. That means communicating and working with the farming strategy.
This isn’t a job, or a military operation — but if you’re in, be all in for that War. And if the timing for a War is hard to coordinate with your life, that’s totally fine, just please opt out of that War. Please remember that you must do so BEFORE matchmaking begins, which is 24 hours before each War starts. So it’s good to be making that decision for mid-week Wars on Monday, and for weekend Wars on Thursday, so you don’t bump up against the deadline.
We’re tracking participation for those who are opted in, and don’t use all 6 flags, or have trouble coordinating with the team’s farming strategy.
Because this is a semi-casual alliance, and life comes up, we’re not about kicking people out for having things come up, and being unable to use their flags sometimes.
No one will be kicked out of the alliance for not using their flags once, or not using them every now and then. Life happens, that’s cool.
Instead, we ask that if someone has a War where something comes up and they’re unable to use their flags, that they be more mindful about deciding in advance of future Wars whether they might have an issue again. Remember, opting out is always a totally great option if you think you might not be able to fully participate in a particular War.
Lastly, because we often have a waitlist of people wanting to join the alliance, if anyone has two occasions within 30 days of each other that they’re opted into War and don’t use all of their flags, we’re going to ask them to rotate out with the next person on the waitlist. We just want to give people on the waitlist opportunity to participate if someone is having less time to play.
If no one is on the waitlist at the time, then nothing will change — but we will ask that alliance member to opt out of upcoming Wars to avoid additional unused flags after that happening two times within a month of each other.
Again, remember that it’s totally fine to stay in the alliance and be opted out of War, so long as you’re participating in other ways like Titans and chat — and also that our intention isn’t to kick people or be militant.
Our concern is solely ensuring that people are either opted in and all-in, or opted out and enjoying the break. We just want it to be fair for others in the alliance who are excited and invested in War.

Most of us have been together for many months, and many of us have been together for well over a year, so it’s a tight-knit group.

@zephyr1 I have no way to message you in Line or in game. I dropped my phone last night and the bottom half, which includes keyboard, is now acting wonky. I can get in Line (and read) and in the game, but I can’t quite do everything. It’s super frustrating for me, but wanted to give you guys a heads up cause it’s impacting my ability to do craft, raid, do POV, Titans and maybe War. I’m trying to get it fixed or replaced, but will keep you posted in case.
