More people chased kara. So im betting its based on portal stats. Rather than release date.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see R&N at 20 souls on August or November SE
I got Lord Loki back in May 2022 in the second round of Soul Exchange. 9 months later and I have another 20 souls ready to go in, but I’m not super excited about this round. I generally have a decent number of healers and support heroes, but I’m lacking some big hitters. Some of my damage dealing combos by team:
Dark: Sergei, C.Victor, Kage
Holy: Jackal, Joon
Blue: Frida, C.Richard
Green: Kingston, Lianna
Red: Marjana, Kravekrush
I don’t have a lot of killing power, and I lack hit three at fast speed. Lewana is the only one that meets the criteria, but doesn’t necessarily synergize with anything I do today.
Faline, Frigg, and C.Finley from last time (fourth iteration) and even Morel, Quennell, and Onyx from the third iteration would be more tempting. This seems to be support oriented. Even Cobalt, Saorise, and Ludwig from the 15 tier last iteration were more tempting.
I’m leaning towards passing this time. My roster space is getting small though. Hopefully I can hold out.

Yeah, I also have trouble with why Kara and Quartz in the 20-tier. I had also guessed another HoTM but with costume instead of Kara and thought it would made more sense. Eloise is also another good choice instead of Kara.
Sometimes I wonder what SGG’s thought process is going into making the list for SE. Is it driven by some obscured data that we’re not privy to? Is it because of costumes of certain heroes that they are going to release soon? Or no thought process at all when making these lists or a combination of them? I only hope that none of them end up in FS later. I picked Skadi in the first SE and regretted it when she showed up in FS. That was my only regret in all the SEs.
As for Miki and the EDD, I don’t think they will be in any SE soon as they still provide a draw for their respective summon portal.

Another reason to exchange arco, overhealing is no longer a thing in monster island. So summoners are in very high demand for that event

Anyone know if lunar heroes stop arcos healing? Im def going for arco. Complete my gargoyle rainbow team. Ive been after arco since he came out.

Arco’s overheal is his own skill, not his minion’s. So, luna heroes can’t stop that healing. But, Arco’s minions don’t attack by lunar passive.

Not just block but damage on heal attempt.
What i was going for is arco heal is per minion on board so if minions still show up, arco should heal correctly. If someone knows or could test this that would be awesome. Tia
Tiger will not, but bunny will AFTER her special is fired and only on target and nearby their passives will not effect the heal. Arco will still summon his minions which triggers his heal the minions are not what gives the heal.

But don’t summoners take more damage? Or do you expect his meat shield is sufficient to protect?

Minions act as extra health for all your heros so Arcos beefy minions will reduce the damage your team takes overall.

The only thing I find weird about this list is that all the past hotm’s are from 2022. Other than that seems pretty dang cool.
