@2puttshaqur I know, but with how limited my heroes are (I am F2P) I use what I have.
@The_Seeker Honestly I can just not use any green on defence and wait for better time… But currently I really need ANY good green hero, as I am swimming in tonics and in the same time I have noone in green to attack with.
Arco will greatly improve your defense. Snipers rarely strike fear in the attacker and kingston is outdates on the defense. Personally, I don’t use other minion maker in my defense with Arco so they don’t stack minion removers like Skadi and Grimble. He give the whole team a strong minion and his gargoyle skin buys you a lot of time. I use Arco on both sides and am super happy with the results.
Quartz and Kara aren’t worth 20. IMO not even 10.
I hear ya… But I’ll throw out one word of caution… Some of these 10s, 15s, and kara might find their way into the fated summon… In May… And I’d hate (did it with skadi) to trade heroes when i could have gotten her for free.
My holy mono team used to be like this… I just waited… It stunk… But eventually the heroes balance out.
@Chadmo so in my situation should I get Arco and build rainbow defence or something cheaper and focus on building strong attacking team first?
Did you get freya from the fated summons? Arco can be useful on offense to… But helps to have a free more minion options.
Sounds familiar, up until I got Hatter from HA10, Mother North was my only non-S1 hero (although I do have Lianna, Horghall, and Elkanen costumes). So that makes my decision much easier with Arco. It doesn’t help with lack of non-S1 firepower, but I think he’s the best of the options (for me).
The other consideration I have is that Arco is offered only in Gargoyles, super elemental, and in the diluted Black Friday-type summons. But Alberich, and The Hatter are available from other places (albeit still small chance) like Tavern, HA10, CF1 as well as the super elemental and non-S1 portals.
Also… when it comes to revivers, I’d say that from an offense they tend to be a little lacklustre. I know my success percentage with MN is not 50%, maybe others have better experience, but I sit her in my defense but don’t use on raids. Maybe in rush tournaments and wars I’ll bring her out.
At 2700 cups, I use Arco on both offense and defense. Easily the best hero on the list.

There are a lot of factors involved. Arco is a good defender, but that’s not always the way to go. Questions to ask yourself: Do you have a lot of 5* heroes to burn in the SE? To you have ample MATs to ascend whoever you get in the exchange. What color do I lack in? Do I need more roster space?
As a free to play you probably aren’t swimming in 5 stars unless you are running 4 TC 20s which makes it harder to level up heroes, so you must choose wisely. If you specifically need a green attacker, Arco will serve you better than Alby for sure…and personally Hatter is a bit more situational. Few defenses have minion killers except for Alucard…and even then bringing Arco doesn’t scare me taking him as the only minion maker with the amount of healing he gives. I attack a LOT 3-2 with 3 greens being Arco, Fogg and whoever as the third and it does very well for me. If Arco fires his skill, well over 50% chance I’ll win.

That’s a shame with the update. It’s what made her unique and brought her some use.
I dont get that hype about Arco, Milena is much more versatilty IMHO.
My main raid team had Heimdall for 18 months, which allowed me to revive many times to survive & win….
So
It took a little time to get used to Arco, who was a better solution to today’s fiend based meta…. & also helpful beef padding for Gazelle, I use a lot.
But
He is settled & is better healer @ average speed = used for 15+ raids daily…
Arco is top pull from Soul-Ex.
Alby regular version has his utility…but above scenario of mine puts him off for me & I hardly use revivers ex pet in rush war defence.
Hatter is my top = 15+ daily raid hero. He is mainly an offensive hero & a top one for me.
My first pick is Arco or Hatter as per roster needs.

All about the overheal. Sure, in many circumstances Milena is more useful…but those who have arco understand the hype.
I use Arco 15+ times daily….BUT use Milena only in the wars with a 3-2 blue team.
So
Versatility has to be put to use, else it would be a waste.
It also depends on roster options.
Milena is brilliant…. But Arco does it for me as. Healer + those beefy minions.
Interesting. Blue and Green are my most used stacks for the most part. I can see Milena replacing Ariel/C Kiril/Azuma as my blue healer and giving another option if the other healer gives the team more protection. It’s an exciting option.
Well, this is certainly not the list that I (or @NoRecesso with our Garnet hopes and dreams) expected… I need to trade in some heroes rather desperately though, even if to just clear out some dupes that I know that I won’t level!
So, for me:
Tier 1 - 10 souls - Not even worth a look in for me personally. Alberich is the only one possibly, but even then… he just doesn’t blow me away.
Tier 2 - 15 souls - There is only one here worth it for my roster, and that’s The Hatter. I have El Naddaha, but she’s not a “true” dispeller in the same way that Hatter is, and I know that he will get some good use! (though, I’m going to need to rummage for cleric emblems…)
Tier 3 - 20 souls - I hear so much good about Arco, and I know how good he can be, but, there is an alarming number of minion counters that are floating around - he would replace Lughaidh. Then there is Milena, a strong blue cleanse/heal or damage/dispel, but I am happy with my blues and just don’t know when I would get around to levelling her.
tl;dr - much like everyone else, it’s between The Hatter, Arco, and Milena

Dated stats, and I generally lack seem to cleric emblems… Particularly since cSnow White and Prof. Lidenbrock are going to need them too
Will he be the lucky recdipeint of a costume in the next CF1?
I do also have cWhite Rabbit at 5^85+20, Alice at 3^70, and cJabberwock to be levelled…
Arco -
Would be an improved health booster, as my green healer consists of cLady of the Lake and I am soon to be working on 
Lughaidh - and who Arco would ultimately replace
There are a lot of minion counters at the moment, and It would still leave me with a green gap in my roster, and it feels a bit excessive to level a dupe c.LotL when my only green hitters are El Nadd and Guan Yu…
Wizard emblems don’t seem to be that much of an issue… as in, they appear frequently enough…
Milena -
Very versatile hero that can really do it all! In particular, having a blue cleanser/dispeller would be lovely, as right now i’m looking at cSnow White.
Not sure who I would possibly push to the back of the queue though for her… cSnow White? Guardian Hippo? cSkadi? All three have their pros and cons… But it would likely be cSkadi that loses the race…
If I hadn’t literally JUST finished getting cRumpelstiltskin to 5^85 then it’s likely that she could have taken his spot 
Thank goodness I have some time to think it through, and mourn for ONCE AGAIN having no shiny red healer to fill that nuisance of a final gap in my roster… I suppose I need to give Red Hood or Grazul another look…
On offense if you can run arco with another minion summoner then go for him. I ran him with director z and it worked really well.i actually often ran him alongside luigi too.
The fiend converter is nice to have but far from his only utility.
If you wont run him with another summoner then i might lean towards milena
For me it is easy and obvius: Lewana is the best hero here - at least for me
