That depends on whether or not this is real.
I am getting Arco, but I have Milena. I would suggest Milena to those who can fork 20 x 5* and don’t have her. She can heal and cleanse when needed, but also charge up super AoE attack. And let’s not forget about her passive which may charge (or will charge for 2x charge) everyone by 10% of mana. And family bonus.
Kinda weird they offer also Quartz whose main draw is faster than very fast cleanse … while Milena can do the same while bringing much more to the table. Only other reason to take him in would be to maximize Ninja Family Bonus.
I will take Arco. I have 5* green overhealers (cLOTL, Heimdall) but Arco also serves a role that is kind of overlooked in this thread: fiend remover. For that I have Esme and … that’s it. Plus he can serve as good green tank considering overheal, meaty minions and Stoneskin.

I’ve made up my mind. I’m taking Milena in the next Soul Exchange
I need 4 more warm caps and a Damascus blade to completely level her
She can heal 25% in 6 tiles with the right troops. That’s amazing.

Just a side note: the two types of emblems that I (and many others) have overflowing are sorcerer and barbarian. There are ZERO of either of these classes in this list.

Some more comments (just personal opinion):
10 tier:
Arfainas is decent sniper and that dodge is annoying, especially since he’s also Rogue (One). But I feel that the age of snipers is over.
Guinevere is still annoying, but today’s meta is purple tanks and she doesn’t really work well as anything else than a tank. On offense she’s not that good either today.
Alexandrine is okay healer and good for titans, but there are better 5* healers. But she has decent passive. But still, probably only people with lack of 5* healers should consider her. I still use mine for wars, titans and tower (or hole) events.
Alberich is reviver, so those who don’t have one and can’t afford more expensive SE heroes could consider him, even though he’s kind low on stats without costume. But he has that useful mana generation that seems to be get no attention and that is useful as well.
Tahir is in similar position as Arfainas, though in his case some combos (C-Marj) are pretty powerful.
15 tier:
- Dark Lord is fairly powerful and that poison comes with in-built mana generation reduction, albeit not that powerful. He’s sniper, who are not so strong as they used to be, though corrosive poison on 3 offsets it. But he may get outdated soon.
- Akkorog is strong but unpredictable - that placement swap might be more of a hindrance, especially since it is done before attack itself, so you may not hit what you aim. I would suggest to skip him, especially if you didn’t like Cheshire cat. I certainly don’t think he’s worth 15 x 5*.
- Alice is a sniper and you should know by now how I feel about them. The attack debuff is powerful but affects only single target and IMHO is one of least useful debuffs. Not worth 15 5* heroes.
- The Hatter has unique skill that also acts as dispel but starts to feel outdated. He’s certainly not useful on defense because he requires to wait for good moment. Also if you have Diaochan then The Hatter does the similar thing but IMHO worse (for example Diaochan can steal Ludwig’s flank’s buffs without prior dispel of him). Still, if you don’t have her his skill may be a lifesaver on occasion.
- Queen of Hearts is decent Taunter but also starts to feel outdated and there are only few moments when Taunt on minion is better than Taunt as a buff (even less after v55). Kara is better so if you can spend 5 more 5* and don’t have Kara (and want a taunter), then take her instead. Take QoH only if you want taunter and you can’t.
20 tier:
- Quartz’ main draw is extremely fast cleanse … but Milena does the same, and for exchange of just little more speed she brings much more. Would exchange him only if you have everybody else for 20 tier and need space or you have 1 or 2 Ninjas and would like to enable or strengthen the bonus of that family. Imho weakest of this tier.
- Kara is good Taunter and her taunt lasts 4 turns, 1 turn longer than Krampus or base BK. Her passives also go very nicely with her purpose. Also she’s one of few 5* yellows that boost attack (is there anybody else besides Rhys?) so she’ll find use on titans as well. Would not probably get her if one has Taunter, mainly because of better options.
- Milena. Well, this game is about dealing as much damage as you can while staying alive. Milena can help with both depending on the situation. She has also very fast cleanse and dispel if needed. And that passive that can recharge entire team with 10% mana. And family bonus that may grant mana speeding stack. What’s not to like? Would be my number one choice and would take her if I didn’t have her.
- Arco is decent summoner with healthy summons (as much % of HP as slow Noor, but with better stats), good if situational overhealer, and fantastic fiend counter. Count in Stoneskin and he’s perfect tank. His family bonus is nice but not essential, meaning he can also work as a lone Gargoyle. Would be my number two choice after Milena.
- Lewena is great fast AoE damage dealer and has unique skill in shutting down talents. The talent shutting comes before damage, so no dodging it from Rogues or Fighters surviving it. Monks may resist it though. The damage might become obsolete soon though. Would consider her if you really want way to shut down talents or if you have Milena, Arco and don’t need a taunter.

Assuming this list is right, I’m deeply torn.
Took LoLo from the 2nd SE, but didn’t have enough souls for Ludwig or Alfrike or Faline the last time (sob). But now I have 22 and I need roster space.
Milena and Arco would both help, I have enough mats to level them both and no great projects in either… Rumplestiltskin, but I’d prioritize Milena over him.
The Hatter also looks like fun to play with, and he’s cheaper.
Alberich… I don’t have MN or any other high level reviver, and I have 22 souls to trade… so if I pick Alberich, i will certainly have 15 by the next SE, maybe even 20.
I don’t know what to do!

Lackluster list overall. Possibly go Arco(pile of greens to work on already tho) or milena ( not overly keen on charge heros)
But undecided at this stage.
Some of the options seem to be overpriced especially kara since ludwig was 15 last round and imo is a better taunter.
Not really, I had to click Quartz because I had no idea what he actually did as I never see him when raiding. He’s definitely not wanted lol.

He’s essentially Ninja C-Rigard. But yes, probably the least useful of Tier 20. Also the weakest of batch 2+3 of ninjas (Ruby, Zircon, Peridot, Topaz and Quartz).

How peculiar, that they have a HoTM (Kara) on the 20-Tier.

Melina is the one to go after. 5 tiles heal, cleanse, add mana.
For every vf healer, comes dozens of attackers. Melina will last you a long time while damage dealers get replaced easily.
Melina also pairs well in 3-2 or 3-1-1.

This is one reason i like alberich and want him (the mana part of his special)
Iv said before on here that is crucial part of his special, that can be a game changer sure his revive is lower then MN but if folk come back mana gain is active he can fire quicker again
If i had 30 id def take him only 22 and i aint pulling hard till the next challenge festival
