Once we were recruiting. Had an Arabic flag or something. Someone joined us that couldn’t speak a word of English. It didn’t last long. 
Lesson learned. If recruiting in AR, turn flag to alliance language.

On the other hand, there are acronyms frequently used here on this forum that I haven’t quite figured out such as DOT or OP. I just assumed we weren’t talking about the Department of Transportation or “Other People.”

DoT = damage over time (e.g. Azlar, Sartana)
OP = overpowered

Had one guy join, and within minutes use code for profanity. I told him that he could say *** and *** and nobody would give a *** , and he said he couldn’t handle real profanity and left. 15 minutes tops. Hypocrites help me not give a ***. I think he is the record holder at Dirty Pirate Harlots, but I say *** 'em.

We had a guy join last week, started advertising their alliance (which is slightly stronger than ours), trying to lure away all of our stronger players.
