Tiles charge them faster on defense usually, have him as tank and he’ll go off more often than on offense unless you get a lucky board on offense.

His mana steal states “25%” from 3 and then shared to self and nearby, meaning at max those 3 allies should get 25% mana, it just doesn’t feel like 25%.

There is that, true - better for defense purposes due to that exact reason too compared to steal as you can’t control what happens there.

I need to test him more on offense tbh, I just slapped him on defense and used him a couple of times on offense.

Sorry can you please explain this one, I don’t see any effects to steal from Gestalt in his special? Which one are you referring to?

I use mine on atk, but i seldom use hit 3 characters on defense because of how AI uses them, but the construct family it isn’t as big of a deal because they do so much damage anyway. But it is a reflex to cringe when i hear any hit 3 character being used on defense (except barkley because of the random way he hits 3). That is a matter of taste though, some people don’t like hit random characters, but they are my favorites because i love chaos.

I usually would never use hit 3 on defense, however, this one is the exception as like you said, he’s gonna do near sniper damage at times anyway and then you get to cut their mana and copy steal buffs.

you know if you take out opponents mana will not be distributed to your own team?

and please dont forget taking out defenders is more important for attack teams then stealing mana from alive opponents

Yes, it was a typo - as for the above, no - they’re alive, the mana gain is rather low for allies imo though, yes - it can help in those moments your characters are nearly charged, on defense I can see a greater yield from it.

every bit of mana helps to get your fasts to very fast within the right setups

hes not the best ever - but to me hes very helpful as support and i like him much more than ghealach (do have multiple unmaxed of him) for example

I love this guy, the one thing i had to understand was that you will probably not get a full 25% mana very often because you would have to hit 3 opponents who were all at full mana. You only get 25% of the total mana they have built up. Im curious if you hit a character like milena who can build 2 full charges or a ninja or slayer who builds 3 meters, do you get 25% of the total amount of mana they have built up or do you get 25% of the mana on that level of the charge. It seems like you could steal more mana from them, and along tge same lines do you get more mana from slow heroes vs very fast, because there is more mana in their meter than there is in the faster guys. Have either of you done any testing to see if these variables play a part in the mana steal?

I haven’t touched mine yet, but I was wondering. If you have him on defense and the AI targets a wing. Yes, you will miss hitting 1 enemy, but would it matter? (In regards to getting mana) You should still get 25% mana anyway, and would steal even more individual mana from the 2 hit enemies than if there were three. Again, haven’t tested this effect.

I have him at 3/70 and his mana steal seems to be enough to charge Ludwig and Alfrike (Lud lvl 23 mana troops/Alfrike lvl 30 magic). Pretty solid threesome along with a healer and another big hitter opposite Ludwig to charge up.

No, you get 25% of the mana they have on hand when you hit them, so not hitting 1 character will cut your possible theft by 33%. You could get more, if the two hit are full of mana, vs hitting 3 who are empty. But you want to hit 3 with him whenever possible because you are losing the possibility of stealing mana from 3, and you loose some damage and copyable skills as well, wvery time the ai targets a wing.

Only 1charge and a bit on her, but I will try see if I can find a better one, or even see if an alliance mate has one I can try test on

Thanks, i was just asking because he is crazy good if he can get his and his teammates even more mana, and he would be a direct counter to ninjas, slayers and magic characters any time i see them.

Im wanting to see if he powers everyones mana more from those charge characters when they are waiting on second and third charges because they are holding much more mana than just the amount to get to the next increase. Forgive me, but the idea in my head is difficult to put into words.

Say Milena is fully charged with mana for her first ability and half way to her second charge. So she has 100% mana and 50% mana toward the second. Do we get 25% of 150% charge or do we get 25% of 50% since that is how much on her current bar, or is it 25% of 100% charge since her first level is fully charged.

I just rerolled about 45 times trying to find someone to test on for multiple charges, unfortunately, all I can find is myoni, and he/she will fire often from just 1 charge so I wont waste a flag on them trying.

I did a raid, then tried enrolling more to find someone, anyone… i did way too many rerolls and wasted too much ham, I cant find anyone so I hope someone else has better luck - I’m at 3034 trophies so that might be why
