📕 Mulgog – 4* Nature / Green from Untold Tales

You’re welcome to an opinion.

I have Mulgog on raid defense coasting at 2500 cups, so he does a job.

I pulled him recently and can’t wait to max him! I think he has some good value!

@Random3 what is your experience with him? Can you list why you think he is weak? Under what circumstances? Against what teams? Etc…

He is garbage. Gave him emblems at 70 use him a few times and confirmed how garbage he is. Of course I took the emblems back. Don’t have the luxury to lvl 80 those kind of situational heroes cause Im mostly free to play. I’m looking only the very best to max like 2 costume li xiu shark khai costume wilbur and all the top 4*. Of course if you lvl 80 him you might benefit from him but its not my cup of tea. Hope this makes it crystal clear.

Peters has extremely bad stats. I got his costume and thought about levelling him for a while, but he’s just too flaky - costume notwithstanding. Such a shame. Why not give these much loved heroes stats that make them competitive; at least in 4* tourneys. Not asking for much.

I am going sword path but do you guys think the mana node is worth taking? Does impact his special with then +19%?

I gotta be honest, I just always take the mana node regardless :joy: figure it takes the guesswork out of it

That’s what I do for average and slower heroes. Fast and very fast i usually skip the mana node.

I guess I will make it easy and just take the mana node haha I don’t why I asked

So… half the time he’s fast and it’s not that useful.

A quarter of the time, his passive is in action anyway.

So as mana nodes go, it’s basically an insurance policy. I don’t think that dropping it is a big deal… except that, the whole point with Mulgog is to get him to fire twice. The DoT just outweighs everything else he does.

I don’t regret taking the mana node

Personally, I didn’t take the mana node… but maybe in the future I will change it, because legendary troops will force such solutions.
I also chose the shield path because I use him more often against 5* heroes and I want him to survive on the battlefield as long as possible. Also, unlike many people, the most important thing for me is cutting mana. Poison is great, but slow champions can have such devastating specials that I’ve come to appreciate cards that can somehow slow them down

Do you use him in wars/raids? Do you have enough troops that his troop provides a mana break point?

If you’re only using in epic battles then the mana node doesn’t help on offense and I wouldn’t do it just for defense.

If you have a full slate of level 29 mana troops (or their equivalent) then you don’t need the bonus.

If you use him in more places than just epic and don’t have super troops then I’d go mana node.
