Can somebody confirm this, the more matildaās fiend on the opponent, the greater the chance the ailments stays.
Suppose that āXā hero get only 1 fiend vs 3 fiends (a.k.a matilda casted 3 times)
Since 1 fiend gives 50% chance to reset the ailments, then if 3 fiends, each of 3 fiends will attempt to reset the ailments thus increasing the chance the ailments stays?
That sounds right. I have her still stuck at 1.1 but I very much would like to know the answer.
I was doing the math on 1 fiendā¦ and someone like Miki would be greatā¦ because his silence is 5 turnsā¦ so the odds that his ailment wouldnāt be reset over 5 turns is 3%. So every impossible tower and costume event final level would be a breeze. Crazyā¦ just crazy. Having said thatā¦ I donāt have miki.
Soā¦ least turns remainingā¦ if I hit with Ureausā¦ his sand damage is 4 turnsā¦ there is a 50% chance that it will go down to 3 turnsā¦ if it is resetā¦ it stays at 3 turns rightā¦ it isnāt reset to 4 turnsā¦ that is how I read it.
That is how it should work. āEach hit from the fiendā. If an enemy has more than one fiend it definitely takes a hit from each one separately. It seems impossible however to check if the reset is also being triggered more than onceā¦
The math is not quite that awesome, unless perhaps your target is immune to poison (evil chortle). Matildaās own status ailment of poison damage for three turns counts toward āthe status ailment with the fewest turns remainingā. So typically the poison would reset once or twice before Mikiās silence gets down to 3 turns or less ā- then you can start the math.
I havenāt figured out yet whether the fiendās āextra 50% damage from status ailments for three turnsā also counts for the least turns criteria. If so, then an enemy immune to poison would still be e protected from an early reset of a long lasting ailment.
My Matilda is still at 1-1 also, but there are so many questions about all this, I have found ways to test her turn mechanics ā farming, friendly battles with alliance members, even rerolling raid opponents til I find one that might work for the test.
Maybe one could check statistics of many occurrences to test if each fiend is trying to reset the least turn ailment separately. It would be tedious though; I am not signing up for the task.
I did attempt to observe however, whether more than one ailment ever gets reset if two ailments have equal turns remaining. Also whether if one fiend resets an ailment, will the next fiend try to reset the lowest turn remaining ailment after that. I did not see either of these things occur, so I am not counting on them. But I havenāt completely ruled them out either.
I looked more closely at Matilda combined with cBrienne. I can confirm that resetting the duration of cBrienneās escalating defense down will not reset it to the base of -41%.
What I did not know previously though is that thereās a cap of -65% for cBrienneās max defense down (not stated on the card). So it wonāt go beyond -65%. The forum says Athena has a max of -65% also.
I tested Sun Shangxiang ā her defense down starts at -44% and has a cap of -68%.
I tested this in a S1 map stage. I put 3 fiends on the final boss; at the end of the turn, each of the fiends āblinksā (I suspect this is the test of the ailment reset for a given fiend). The poison dmg kept resetting to 3 turns each time, so each of the fiends seems to have its own status ailment reset check.
oh my goshā¦ I was mis-reading the cardā¦ so that makes much more sense. Soā¦ if water damage is at 3 turnsā¦ and poison is at 3 turnsā¦ which gets the bump?
" oh my goshā¦ I was mis-reading the cardā¦ so that makes much more sense. Soā¦ if water damage is at 3 turnsā¦ and poison is at 3 turnsā¦ which gets the bump?"
I was hoping it would be both ailments that get reset when they have the same number of turns remaining, but I havenāt seen that so far. It looks like it might be whichever was cast first.
EDIT: From early tests I thought maybe once an ailment gets down to one turn left then it wonāt be reset, but that apparently was a needless concern. I have now seen ailments with only 1 turn left reset.
I will let you know if I can confirm either of these.
I also noticed WuKong +20 resisting the 50% extra status ailment damage for 3 turns on a fiend hit. And his superior talent resist may have even caused him to attack Matilda with 100% damage. Again not sure on the 100% damage retaliation attack, but he definitely resisted the 50% extra damage.
Set her off firstā¦ Then rumple, and the poison overwritesā¦ Butā¦ The 9% mana reduction is in place. It goes to 18/27/36 per turnā¦ But when reset goes back to 9.
Butā¦ The -56% mana gen option doesnāt overwrite and stays in placeā¦
Andā¦ Worst case scenarioā¦ You get overhealā¦
Matildaā¦ Is the most fun Iāve had in such a long time.
I just tested it out on a s1 worldā¦ But right nowā¦ Iām considering costume rumple ureaus costume kiril and ptolemy.
That could potentially give them fire damage blind poison damage mana gen down attack down and def down. Itās a weird teamā¦ But i think they could work well together.
Currently running Matilda (still 3/70, waiting on mats) with Rhys, Uraeus, Malin, c Azlar (I donāt care about speed, I care about fun)ā¦
When they all fire, the targets still alive get poison, sand, burn, bleed, plus 1 gets Malinās hunterās mark.
Azlar is doing, depending on troops, 430-470 burn per turn and almost always resets. Combined dot damage is 700 ish on the non Azlar targets and over 1000 on Azlar targetsā¦
For rush, this may be my new team. If they fire, you donāt dispell in 2 turns everyone is dead.
The biggest indictment of klearn is that all of my dot damage heroes have new lifeā¦ Except for him who is still getting thrown into the soul exchangeā¦
Just thought about itā¦ New ailment blockingā¦ Letās say i have 6 turn defense down up or any ailmentā¦ With the fiendā¦ Then their team employs a grazul or cleopatra or someone who blocks new ailmentsā¦ Will the refreshed ailment be blocked and the entire ailment removed?
That could happen, based on what I saw with WuKong resisting the increased damage. Not quite the same thing though, so better test it. Faiez does new ailment blocking too, but I donāt have a good way to test.
