Since dodging is based on special attack direct dmg, then it would lower the chance.

Finally a hero of the month that makes Thoth Amun look good… put him and Margaret together… there you have it the ugliest hero of the month LOL
tl;dr consider maxing Kadilen instead of Margaret. At least Kadilen’s buff extends to all allies while maintaining a similar survival rate against SS damage. And Kadilen deals a token amount of damage too.
Margaret seems to be a titan specialist because of her high attack stats. Her usefulness on raids, both offense and defense are really hampered by her short range (nearby allies only). The chances of dodging an SS is dubious. I tested her against a 12-star titan and the dodging was well below 90%. If a 12-star titan doesn’t rate a 90% dodge chance then I can’t imagine what would. And that is the biggest problem with Margaret. There is so much uncertainty around what chance she gives to dodging a particular SS. In my titan testing I’ve found Margaret to be a poor substitute for Alberich. The only reason I compare the two is because both HotMs have really passive SS abilities and have decent to high attack stats. Both of them could add mana to their allies’ pool and both should help the survivability of your team. Alberich is on my titan team and I get better titan scores with him instead vs. Margaret.
In terms of practical game play her limited duration on her buff makes her a problem to use. In a raid, you’d have to hold back her SS until you could be relatively sure that the enemy’s SS would fire within that 3 turn window of protection. After getting used to Aegir’s same limitation I thought Margaret’s would be easy to deal with. Nope, Aegir’s is much more useful because there’s a chance that any tile match could trigger a cascade that generates healing. In Margaret’s case, you’re just waiting to see if your heroes dodge (or not). And the payoff of a successful dodge is not that great…a “moderate” amount of mana. I’m sure others on this forum have probably quantified it, but I’m not that interested in it because that mana injection is just as uncertain as the chance of dodging.

Kadilen is a junk. Never become a threat on defensw. Easy dispellable buff, weak hit.
I would rather gambling to max margaret with the surprise instead of kadilen that already proven a weak hero. That’s my opinion

I just sit back and eat my popcorn as my Margaret gets stronger everyday and laugh as she dodges strong specials when I do revenge raids.
I marvel at the fact soooooo many hate her and relish at the wins I pile up as she grows stronger.
What ever hero with a strong special you can name…she or nearby heroes has dodged.
The more people that hate her…the less likely my team will have to face a team with her…

I suppose it is an incoming damage, not the damage done, the incoming damage is based on f(attackers) and d(defense of defenders) in line with the theoretical damage calculation.
This should not in anyway be affected by the potential damage sharing of Aegir., which only comes to effect when the damage is applied.

And haven’t pulled them either.
I pulled Maggie and I’m leveling her up. 3-18 now, special at 7. She appears to be very useful (but somewhat situational), but her full potential definitively depends on she’s being maxed (to increase attack and survivability).
I got her by accident, wanted a strong blue one in elemental (and got Greymane and 2 Ulmers in the next pulls, so I’m glad I got her -.-) ^^ now she has to wait for my green 4* to get to 3/60, but then I’ll level her up.
I think I’ll level Greymane as a punishment for bying gems for elemental summons^^ the last ones didn’t work as well 
should be a reminder/memorial for me.

I go back and forth on wanting to get her. Ive been wondering if she could be a great addition to slower mana heroes giving them time to build up mana and hit hard. Especially with her very fast mana rate. Could change the fight a bit. Anyone use her that way and notice any results?

So if I’m understanding well, Margaret accelerate the mana of my enemies
Ten pull for Avalon. Ten dupes plus Margaret. First five star green. So I will be working on her, at least for now.
I can find a place for Margaret, I got her after the 2nd summon (2 times x10 summon)
I try her for a few times and I got the conclusion to describe her as a “gambler” like Wi and Wu
I guess to join her to the gamblers team
sometimes she can make you lough, smile or be nervous.
However, I will work to level her to 3*70 but I’am not sure to she get the 4th ascend.
