Imv, Kravekrush is much needed. Situational for sure, but what a great hero to own. I wrote a fun review for him here:

He hits as hard as Lepus at essentially the same speed. So even if no revivers out he is good. Since we think Lepus is good then so must this guy be. Then if there are revivers then the niche comes into play and is excellent.

Making the hit be a good one means this isnā€™t a hero you have to ascend as a luxury imho

I want morel and thankfully I got him and dodged Kravekrush. That said, only portals Iā€™m pulling from now on is clash of knights and season 5. Those season 5 heroes are bonkers. So Iā€™m not ascending anyone I have until I pull from that portal. I pulled for frigg in valvalla and got her cause Iā€™ve just wanted her so bad. Pulled for Ariel costume and got her. There are reasons to still pull from older portals. Just hit lady of the lake and the hatter and again, heroes that I think can hold their own still.

I tried my hardest to get Morel, but ended up with Kravekrush. I donā€™t usually go against a revive team, and when I do, the revived character comes back fairly low on health and isnā€™t too hard to kill again. I donā€™t see myself ascending this one.

Most teams have Mother North, Heimdall, Albe or some other version of them. Too annoying to kill over and over same super heroes. This is a good answer to that super problem. IMHO.

If it doesnā€™t prevent healing, then I feel like this is a pretty specific and limited ability that has to be used at just the right time (without getting cleansed). I donā€™t think Iā€™ll be ascending this one.

I just use him in a Lepus type role tbh. Since heā€™s a functionally Fast Hit 3 he follows my C.Marjana and fires in 8 tiles. I have Octros in there too firing in 9 so I find using all that they can smash through the front 3 easily.

In rush heā€™s then very good for buying time as stopping the ressers is a lot more important than stopping the healing. You will smash whatā€™s left even on full health but you have to stop them bring the 3 back you just killed.

So heā€™s found a nice place in my Red team

Kravekrush vs Tyrā€™s special. There was a question raised in a different thread about Tyr ignoring Kravekrushā€™s ailment, so I tested against an Alliance mateā€™s defense. The order of the specials firing makes a lot of difference due to the way Tyrā€™s special skill works

If Tyr fires first, he gets his buffs and they are not overwritten by Kravekrush

When heā€™s killed, all the statuses are removed and he revives

On the other hand, if Kravekrush fires first, Tyrā€™s buff is blocked though the HoT still works

Iā€™m assuming this behaviour will be the same with other heroes with this special skill, like Atomos and Cillian

Nice hero, but the problem is you will face 6 teams with Mother North in rush wars, and youā€™ll only have one Kravekrush. Therefore I donā€™t know if heā€™s worth ascending. Great for rush tournaments, but Iā€™m not sure if thatā€™s worth a dedicated heroā€¦

No you can only use any hero once. But his key selling point is stopping resurrection, and if you face 6 teams with MN, then he doesnā€™t have all that much value in my opinion.

I think he is a servicable hero.

But the new Bard heros diminished his value a bit.

I wanted to get Octros to improve my red roster. Instead, I got Kravekrush. I would probably work on him soon, as I have 16 mystic rings now.

Since getting Kravekrush on his first day out Iā€™ve used him more and more.

The fact that he blocks Fighters getting up again is a life saver. So many quality heroes in defences are fighters and this guy is just a big pile of nope to them.

Octros is great and Iā€™m lucky to run both these guys together but if got Kravekrush you wonā€™t be unhappy when you start to use him.
