Also, slow heroes are one of the 2 that benefit from mana troops. Very fast is improved with level 11 and slow with level 17. Fast needs 29 and average needs 23, so slow is a little more reasonable.
Also, Albie is slow but still adored
Edit: though I supppse Albie is a fantastic wing and Lady needs to be flank or tank because minions, so itās not exactly the same.
I was contemplating going hard for Kingston and taking him all the way but iām seriously considering taking Lady instead. I have Zeline so Kingston isnāt a do or die for me. Took this team on the titan, would pop Tarlak, Lady and Buddy right out of the gate and I only had the titan fire once in my 8 hits. I had one at 29, average was 50 and got an 82k with nothing but manaās and I kept forgetting to pop the banner. I have Albi maxed and emblemed as well but Lady even at 3/70 is going with me more and more while Albi sits on the bench.
I donāt have Zeline, so I do plan to do a lot of pulls for Kingston. I donāt have Alberich either. That said, I have 13 tonics. I was thinking of maxing Lady and Kingston.
Is the general consensus on Lady that she is amazing on offense and āmehā on defense?
Even if I maxed her, I donāt think Iād use her on defense unless maybe a field aid war. A slow flank is easy to beat on even a mediocre board IMO. And sheās not a tank and wasted in the corner so I just donāt think she fits. On offence both would be a game changer for you and I donāt think youād regret either one.
Iāve only been playing since the start of the year. Pulled Lotl and got her to 3/70. Atlantis rises came up and used her in my team to finish off atlantis, and oh my god, the boss battles never stood a chance. Final battle against Ursena and she literally couldnāt gain mana, normal and titan form. Just made it so much easier and got my 300 coins for finishing atlantis and pulled Alby of all heroes haha. So she is gonna stay at 3/70 and Alby gets the tonics.
I didnāt pull for Alby after getting Lady of the Lake. Think she might be more useful all around.
I agree. I am using her for atlantis. Between her Miki and Proteus the bosses are never able to fire.
I now have Lady at 3-44 (sheāll be stuck there until I finish maxing my new, shiny Alby). Have used her a few times now in wars in my mono green team (which is kind of garbage as my leveled greens are few in number and kind of garbage on offense) and today I was able to win a match solely because of her. Both teams had two heroes down, but once Lady was able to get her first special off, the minions were able to keep the enemies in lockdown until her second special and at that point the match was decided.
If you put two beefy heroes on her either side who are almost guaranteed to stay alive until her special, if you can take down at least two enemies and cast her special, youāll start to rob all tempo. Sheās definitely looking quite powerful despite the slow mana. My tonics are still going to Alby and the next ones likely Kingston, but I could definitely see someone ascending her ahead of Alby.
Iām jealous of Alberich. I tried to get him, but reached my spending limit

Alby is one of the greatest flank heroes in the game. Mix him with another healer like delila or Ariel and your set for defence. My Lotl is gonna stay at 3/70 for a while and just use her in events and quests of which she makes it simple haha. Alby will be getting my tonics.
Ariel is on my defense team. Sad that I canāt add Alberich

It might take a while for Alby to be available again. I donāt know what SG has planned, but once season 3 comes out, they might be running both the Atlantis gate and the season 3 gate once a month, with different featured past HOTMs. Remains to be seen.
I imagine most people would ascend Alberich over Lady, but depending on their roster, play style and current needs I could see Lady speaking to some people more. Alby rezāing a garbage team like mine still likely wouldnāt win one the match, but Lady plus potentially a second healer keeping the team alive and her minions denying the enemy all specials for possibly the rest of the match allows you to just beat them down no matter who they are.
One of her shortcomings is the diminishing value of her special with each dead flank. If itās just her getting the minion, itās infinitely worse than three heroes getting it. That would likely make her great friends with Alby, though. Maybe less so with Mother North, because you could potentially be overriding a sword with one of her minions. Obviously even worse synergy with Seshat.
Yeah, I really donāt like not knowing when I might get another shot at a hero. My main target is Evelyn in Novemberā¦ hope I get her. Sad to miss Alberich since my only 5* druid is Master Lepus.
Iāll definitely try Lady at 3/70. I think just by being a 5* healer she has a lot going for her
I heard Zim is next, another great druid. I already read some black magic books to do some spells to get her 
Yeah, Zim is nextā¦ if the pattern holds. I want Evelyn more. So Iām trying to save up for November. I wouldnāt mind Zim though. My reds arenāt great. I have every desirable purple 5* besides Ursenaā¦ reds I have Khagan, Anzogh, Grazul, Azlar, Elenaā¦ not crazy about any of themā¦

Mitsuko and Marjana maxed. 15 rings and Iād like another one. Zim would be nice, but not willing to spend a lot.

I have the exact same reds, plus Mitsuko. Mitsuko is at 80, just started working on Grazul, will give her my remaining rings. Iām a big fan of Grazul, sheās going to see a lot of use.

Evelyn is a hero I really want. The last elemental defense down I donāt have. I am worried about the Atlantis heroes and other HoTM they are withā¦ Iām missing Ursena and Tarlakā¦ oh, and Mok-Arrā¦ but I donāt want him anyway.

actually mn works pretty well with LOTL as both slow they go off same time. Fire off mn first so her minion is first and it protects LOTL minion as itās 2nd and mn minion is hit first in defence .
only problem is at 3/70 she is squishy compared to mn and is a target in raids an AW from defence . Lotl was going to get my mats then I pulled ably so in a bit of a conundrum , alby or lotl
