Gonna keep updated this post, at least for statistic purpose:
I started 1st retrain in mid march, and stopped in mid august. That’s roughly 25 retrain, I only retrained S1 dupes and only got S1 dupes (I was missing only Vivica at that time, and got her via TC20)
As a general rule, I never put in a S1 hero wich costume would be useful to me, and whenever I can I put in heroes wich I own costumes (that’s why I retrained several Isarnias and zero Marjanas)
Restarted AH10 the first week of october, so gonna track result from that point.
10/04 - 10/11: Isarnia → Alice (First non S1 hero)
10/11 - 10/18 Kadilen → Khagan
10/18 - 10/25 Khagan → Domitia
10/25 - 11/01 Domitia → Horghall
11/01 - 11/08 Horghall → Quintus
11/08 - 11/15 Azlar → Khagan
11/15 - 22/11 Khagan → ???
I’m kinda disappointed I still have no costumes (even if they introduced later) and the only non-S1 hero I got is meh.
I hope your luck changes soon, I think it’s common for most to go a long time before special retrainings or to have long dry spells (hang in there @Obsidian )
I think it gets hard when you see all the special retrains in here, just got to remember most people only post when they get good results so you often don’t see how long their dry spells last.
As people pointed out look at @Harlikwen he waited till retrain 55 to get a special retrain, then got a second special retrain just a few weeks later.
It is! 3 out of 5 now.
And I even made it harder on myself by putting Vivica in…
…so I’m doing that again and putting the dupe Elena on training.

Kudos to you guys doing all this recording every week… I know the 1 non season 1 hero I have for a year running this thing and also zero costumes… This thing has become a frustration for me, I don’t know when specifically costumes were added but it should be a roughly 10% chance so like 3 months for something (previously 6 months)… Just ugh, such a waste of ham and no troops for almost nothing (did get a duplicate Anzogh and rounded out s1 heroes I was missing… But that maybe could have came via tc20 too).
Yet I’m still running it cause I need some non season 1 heroes… especially red with my 21 ring stash.
Just disappointed in this, I had hoped to at least be CLOSE to the odds over a period of time, not dismal…
