I have one blue 4-1 team built around that concept (fast, fast, fast, average) and it works well. Until it doesnt.
To me its not the most reliable/consistent setup nor is it the most fun, but if the heroes are good it can take down any defensive team on a good board

i also feel special-skill synergy more fun than color-synergy, but would accept that color-synergy is one solid strategy.
i am not feel enough encouragement to think that vanilla panther is a must in the next FS still
edit to be precise, since i already have Sergei and my purple is weak, so i am not looking for 2 EDD purple oriented team at the moment (but maybe in the future)

It is a potential list embeded to the current version of the game confirmed by Elioty. So if SG won’t significantly chage their minds, most heroes of this list should be selectable : Panther, MN, Santa, Alberich, Athena, Ares, Arthur, Victor, to name a few.

Fast and average “EDD” is never get old because it can increase direct damage of new powerful heroes and there are always new powerful heroes with higher direct damage.
I also have Sergei too but I still interest in Guardian Panther because she also dispell too.
Sergei is a nice hero, but besides the EDD there is not much in common between Panther and Sergei. Against titans I would say the difference is minor, you can go either one or even both (If you use Sergei for 2nd charge only (to save mana potions).
For PvP Panther would be a big upgrade in most situations. The Dispel makes Panther MUCH stronger, plus you also get a bit of damage right away, which isn´t huge, but certainly more than Sergei does (if he does any at all). Speed wise you will most likely also have a better fit, unless you have a 6 tile mono team (in which case Sergei is the only option). If your team needs 7 or more tiles Sergei runs the risk of charging to second charge and becoming useless or alternatively fire him early and run out of the EDD, before the rest of the team is charged.
In short, yes Panther is the way to go even if you already have Sergei. Best hero on the new list. And also better than Frida (same hero at avg speed), the best hero on the current list, if you cannot pick both of them.

And unfortunately though i have a weak purple, i.e. no Dark fast &:hitter (except vanilla Freya ), i do have Turgruk, so i prefer build v.fast sniper team with Sergei (for PvP)
And for Titan, i have Shark, so Sergei and Shark make a perfect duo for EDD and attack boost already.

Ufeel, yes, i saw Guardian Panther in the upcoming fated summon, but she is pretty old, like most of the heroes there. Not sure…Purple has quickly become my worst team (and blue, previously my worst, is now my best. I levelled Charon to 90 and he’s great, but he’s no tank and my alliance runs purple tank, so im pretty desperate.

That´s an easy one for this hero and all others: Mana is the most powerful node in the tree, crit pretty close to (with exception of extra healing) the most useless one.
Ufeel, i have Sergej too, but he and Guardian Panther just don’t have the stats needed nowadays. Yes, works against a titan with extra mana, but in wars? She’d be dead in no time. Nevertheless i took her from Fated summon cause i like the artwork. If only they’d given us the costume too.
Smantha i have a problem with purple as well …
so i think of various possibilities on this FS like Panther or Victor where Victor can be a factor in VF sniper with Sergei & Turgruk
Now i just realized i may take Thoth for purple who i never think of before. Coz i just realize that with all bonuses he is basically also vf, esp. if we pair him with Alby, we can easily make all fast heroes vf.
Ufeel, you are absolutely right. I have come to the same conclusion, Thoth is the best of the ones in FT. I really hope i get a good purple (shacklebolt, Luna or Medea), and i pulled for it but i haven’t got any decent purple since Nyx. So i wait for SE and if this doesn’t work out, i take Thot. I take him anyway next time… it’s crazy, i had 2 years without a blue and now…oh well, that’s RNG, your best friend and enemy.
And this is LB2 version after today update. Attack and Defense path as well. I find it very good they are giving some life to old heroes, even if we need to summon the costumes.
What emblem path is best? I’m thinking attack since she’s fast and chances are good that she’ll survive to get at least one fire. Thoughts?
