Asking for a friend here. He has already gotten Mother North, we had narrowed it down to Lady Loche, G. Panther, and Athena. He doesn’t really have any ranger emblems so no Athena. His strongest team is green, and has over 2000 emblems of Druid, Fighter, Sorcerer, and Wizard. The rest are under 1000. He just wants the best overall. What do people think?
Is there a chance of having 20 souls to trade for the expected cGuardian Panther? That could change things considerably.

I like Lady Locke, particularly because green cleansers are rare and she deals a lot of damage, which isn’t actually hindered by high defense of newer heroes, but she is super frail without a costume. For lower level play, she may hold up though.
Panther without costume is also super frail, but offers more key utilities. While dispel and cleanse are about equal, Panther also offers EDD which is very useful for titans as well (and unless we get stronger titans, she will hold up there).
Athena is more broadly usable on titans since she has a large defense drop, though longer term, she will be used for just red ones. She is actually the sturdiest of the 3. She seems decent for offense, let down by low damage, and her stats.
Really, all of them want their costumes to shine. Of those, however, Athena’s is the most accessible, if only because you can select her as a featured hero for Tavern, whereas the other two are not likely to be featured given SG’s approach of featuring a new Challenge Event hero and a new costume (with Locke and Panther being neither) in the Challenge Festival 1.
Thus, I would select from the Challenge Events heroes, and would give Panther a slight edge.
