This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the Round 4 of the Ice Contest of Elements heroes - Nylora.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

*There is a total of one (1) new Ice heroes added to Beta for testing; these have been indicated to be for Contest Of Elements - Ice version.
*The name of the new hero is: Nylora

The new heroes form the "Super Elemental family and have a family bonus:

Super Elemental Family

Super Elemental family makes Mono teams even stronger.
This hero enhances Ice element.

  • One or more shields are enhanced to Power Gems each turn.
  • The amount is same as Ice heroes in the team. 5 Power Gems per element can be on board at the same time.

The Power Gem deal 20 damage to a random enemy each turn until it is matched. When Power Gems are matched , they deal 10 damage to all enemies.

Passive: Troop Mastery
Passive Skill as attacking character:
This hero’s Troops deal extra elemental damage against weaker element.

  • Dealt extra elemental damage: +100%

Passive Skill as defending character:
This hero receives less elemental damage from Troops of stronger element.

  • Received elemental damage: -10%

Special Skill: Ice and Slice

  • Targets element is changed to Fire for 3 turns. (Titans and Mythic Titans are not affected by Element Swap)
  • The target get -68% defense against Ice for 3 turns.
  • Deals 550% damage to the target.

I have both one shot an enemy and been one shot by her in raids

I gave her a test run on a titan and beat my previous best by turning a Holy titan into red and using my blue team. She’ll be good in a blue team as is, but can make titans and mythic titans easy if blue is your best team.

I didn’t expect them to release a hero that would let whales have a single all purpose titan team.

This one was a lot of fun to use in beta. I probably won’t pull in the blue contest of elements portal, but she’s a great one to pull.

The only change for this hero is just the addon of this to it’s first skill:

  • Titans and Mythic Titans are not affected by Element Swap

This is a general change or only for this hero? Was Guardian Chameleon nerfed?

So rn, this hero got a HUGE NERF.
But actually…
