🧪 Early Information on Costumes (Formerly Skins) [Part of The Beta Beat v23, v24 & v25]

Well quest is done.
Keys are in the pocket and I get myself a new and shiney costume for Drummroll please: Gunnar.
The same as Joon that I checked, I dont see an improvement in the hero so there will not be any closing of the gap in hero’s;

Original Spirit link
Mana slow
Special:

  • All allies share receveived damage with each other for 5 turns
  • All allies get +63% defense for 5 turns

Costume Steel Link
Mana slow
Special:

  • All allies share receveived damage with each other for 5 turns
  • All enemies get -30% defense for 5 turns

To me this does not seem as giving the old hero’s that lack punch compared to the new ones still not impressive or even on par at all.

Hi, @yelnats_24, I’m not Zephyr1, but yes, 1 costume quest per month. It’s been answered before

@HarryDeB At least you can have a mini Wilbur with Gunnar’s costume. I am one of many that still don’t have Wilbur so Gunnar’s costume having that effect is a welcome subsitute.

I’ve got new Brienne. She looks like usable vs titans, but new art is so bad…

What is the point of new class if you can not put emblems? Still have to use old class emblems. Or I do not understand something?

In client -

  • All enemies share receveived damage with each other for 5 turns

The emblems are more a carry over… You don’t lose the progress you put into the normal skin just cause you’re wearing a costume on that hero

What I get is, still have to use old class emblems but getting new class tree upgrades? Honestly I’m very disappointed, though we will be able to use new class emblems.

My quest is done and got BT, Melandor from my free keys and used 300 of my free gems for a Hawkmoon.

Why would that be the case. Then you either:
A) get a super hero where you can put two classes worth of emblems or
B) have to spend the emblems twice on the same hero

I was thinking, emblem levels stay but all next levels require new class emblems. To simple I guess.

That goes option A where you can spend two classes worth of emblems and make a super soldier :stuck_out_tongue:

Do costumes use same ascension materials? Don’t know if I can really afford to use my gems for another 3/70 hero to be slightly better than the current 3/70 hero’s already waiting

3* mats you need one as per someone above… Think it was @HyperLite

4* mats aren’t required as per @Traggeter above.

Yes it was shown by @Nexus1254

Is there any updated ascension table? I have one but it seems to be outdated

Can someone please explain what the ascension mats requirements are for both 4 & 5*

Example. ICE 5 * 1/1 to 4/80 would require
Hero:
L 3 - 4 Capes
L 4 - 4 Capes + 6 Scopes

Costume:
L 3 - ?
L 4 - ?

4* Hero
L 3 - 4 Capes

Costume
L 3 - ?

To get max value you need to max both the hero and costume? In example above you need:
Hero: 8 Capes and 6 Scopes
+
Costume
? and ?

Sorry if this was answered, I look for hours. So many posts!

So you still must level the normal hero to final tier if you want the costume to go to final tier.

From what I’ve heard both 4* and 5* require only a single 3* ascention material to take the costume to final ascention.

3* is cheap and easily farmable regardless

Yep, I need a chart
@Pois1 or @Mariamne?
