bulwark Bulwark At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +15% defense, and a further 1% increase every time they are hit during 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

  • Deals 240% damage to the target and nearby enemies.
  • The target and nearby enemies receive 60 Burn damage over 3 turns.

an upgrade over normal Karil. when my Blue 3* roster was still shallower, I would use him for his somewhat high attack on challenge events.

Yes. If your bench is thin, you may use him out of necessity. But there are so many better options available, I don’t see what more he brings to the fight than others. Maybe if he joins a quartet of other classics, the boost helps enough…

that’s usually my thinking with a lot of the 3* heroes, including many of the vanilla 3s indeed. with so many 3 options… and besides raid tourneys and challenge events, there are very few other places I would use 3*s.
