The one I lost was annoying. Their Moonflower went off, I had no idea who he was or what he does. Every time I fired a special, he attacks ALL my heroes, which screwed me, BUT I did kill 3 and the remaining 2 ALMOST died, I am gutted. You can’t see easily, but Marjana has about the same amount of health remaining as what Starwalker does
More strong defenses today in the 6300-6600 range. Still felt like a 4-1 stack was the best way to go. The problem with that approach is that it’s more prone to the vagaries of the tiles.
Lost the first match to yet another Ludwig tank, this time flanked by Gestalt and Hetepheres. Went 4 Reds and couldn’t stop Ludwig from firing. Only managed to kill the tank to avoid the zero.
Won the next against a Farrah - Darkfeather - Ludwig middle 3, before losing again in Match 3. This time it was a Hathor tank with DF and Firmin Richard beside her. Switched to 4 Blues (Aino - Ferrus - c2Magni - Finley - Lord Loki) and didn’t manage to charge anyone other than Ferrus once. And even then, Hathor ailment block nullified his DoTs. A zero this time for loss number 4.
Bought back in on a whim (and because I was filling a chest) and got better boards to win the last 2. Into the last day at 16-4 with an E defense (2-6) just aiming for a top 5% finish.

Obakan kept reviving and so did a toon magni which was annoying.
My first loss i could have won but the green owl made me have -45% accuracy and, you guessed it, most tiles and specials were missed. I had 1 kill in this match.
2 kills in my second loss against an Obakan who fired 4 times and revived 4 or 5 times too.

My very first match was just awful tiles, nothing could be done at all. No matter how many tiles I cleared it just kept replacing with colours I didn’t need or want or have so I scored a 0 on the first match, but decided to buy back in.
Second match I also lost, it was ok at first, the board was good AND bad, not amazing or terrible, then suddenly it dried up. I killed 3 and almost killed the last 2, but didn’t quite unfortunately.
I figured the next matches were going to be losses too, and they almost were. None of them had “great” starting boards, but one of them I definitely got lucky with a combo that killed an Obaka tank with flank Darkfeather (this team was mono purple).
I faced a FULL toon LB2 team too, but managed to win that somehow.
Good luck everyone - not sure if i will stay top 1% or move to 5%.

Anyway Ekanite really contributed to this 1 and its a no regrets pick from SE
Mostly attacked with 4 blue+Ekanite or 4 Green +Ariel
5th day tiles were there for me i can’t deny also Lord Loki helped
Just like last week, offense ran out of steam on the last day. Lost twice against Luna tanks including a zero pointer.
And to rub salt into the wounds, took a frustrating loss against this team in the last match.
Madame Giry fired and gave my heroes fiends, but I got all my Reds charged up and ready for the big blow. Had a cascade which started nicely by taking out Myoin-ni. But the joy turned to horror as the next tiles dropped vertically into the uncovered Gestalt. He promptly killed off Ignazio my only healer. Fiends + his cubes finished off the survivors.
At least this week my defense is better and is up to C (4-6). Good chance of another top 5% finish.

It was a tough tournament… Despite paying 75 gems, I still struggled to get to the end. After all, it was in 5* BB that I always achieved my worst results, so Top 5% is a great result for me
(Completely different than last week, where I considered the same result as a failure)

For the second week in a row ended up with just a .500 record in the last 2 days. Really need to work on my stamina for 5* tournaments. Seriously though, it’s tough when you start swimming outside your comfortable lane.
Defense did a bit better this week, giving a bigger margin of error in the rankings for top 5%.
Loot was pretty mundane except for the Reset Emblem.
A break from 5* tournaments with a Rare 4* Rush next week with no colour limitations. Pretty sure I’ll be debuting toon Li Xiu as tank with Franz and Gullinbursti in there somewhere. Still missing Kalo after all these years though.

Is there an easier way to find the winning teams from recent (ie. 2024) tournaments than to:
just search for the keyworks, as every post have the same title

However, are the top teams of that tournament (the one in the title I searched for) ALWAYS posted there, or is it only the winners from the previous tournament? It appears the top tops of the tournament in the title are posted as a comment by a user (ie. Not the OP or “official” poster affiliated with the game). Does a “regular” poster/player do that for all those threads?
For example, if I search for the last tournament " [23 Jun 2024] - 270th Raid Tournament - 4* Buff Booster, No Ice/ Blue" and go to that thread, the OP of that thread posts the top teams from the previous time that tournament occurred (ie. [05 Nov 2023] - 237th Raid Tournament - 4* Buff Booster, No Ice/ Blue).
However, I see the (current) last post is the top teams from the 2024 tournament. Does someone do that for every tournament?
Yes, I post the top 10 teams from the leaderboard at the end of each tournament. Think I’ve missed just one in the last 2 years or so.
And that post gets referenced the next time the same kind of tournament comes around in 33 weeks.
Note though, that’s it the defense of the top 10 teams in terms of points scored which includes offense and defense. So, can’t really call it the top 10 defenses since we’re just assuming they got A defense all 5 days.
