Fourth day result, def dropped to B. Offense lost twice this week.

Lost against 1 Ferant, 1 C Boldtusk, 1 Azmia and 1 CB Kiril tank defs.
Never lost against Boril tank, which I faced 4.
I faced 2 regular Kiril tanks, but one had no emblems/Lb nor costume bonus which was weird for an opponent from day 3, so it was an easy kill. Lost against the other one.
3 C Kiril tanks, but lost against none.
6 Azmia tanks, only lost against 1, still the loose against the 1 Azmia tank def was just my fault, because I didn’t change my team.
2 CB/C Boldtusk tanks, lost against 1.
2 Ferant tanks, lost against 1.
So far 16748 points, what I believe will be enough for top 5%.

I think this may be the best i’ve ever done in a tournament! I made it to the last flag and didn’t lose on the last one. 
4 riposte tanks - 1 cBoril, ! Ferant, and 2 Azmia’s last one was a Sonya tank. A couple of red heavy teams which is a bit curious in a no-green tournament. A couple of the starting boards were very bad, but turned quickly enough that i could remove most of their team and have a healer left over to tough it out. one team had a corner Ametrine that went off at 3x and killed most of my team, but just managed to squeak in a win with my remaining cRigard because she was all that was left and i kept healing up and eventually took her out with tiles.
D picked up a loss, i can’t tell if it was before or after the cutoff. I might have had a B yesterday. At any rate, I’m in 1% with 17714 points, rank 2972. I’m guessing that should be good enough.

Lesson of the day: always bring two different color dispellers against riposte tank. And no, Mist doesn’t count. I lost my last one because I couldn’t get c. Sabina charged and couldn’t get my Mist ahead of Boril. It’s probably been years since Boril beat me!
Finished 21-4. Defense holding a “C” on the cusp of top 1% but I’m expecting to drop out.

Dreams of a perfect tournament were dashed early in the 2nd match. I mentioned yesterday that the 2 heroes I feared most this week were Azmia and Gullinbursti.
Remind me never to tell the game what to challenge me with 
It’s a terrible feeling watching cGullinbursti ready to fire and deal 600+ damage to everyone and there’s nothing you can do about it 
Ended up with a zero there, but the other 4 matches were easy so won’t hurt in the rankings…
Defense also lost 1 and is now 5-1. Top 1% is assured though
Oh well, maybe I’ll get it the next tournament. Good luck with your last attacks and with the loot tomorrow!
Edit : The next tournament is 5* Rush No Yellow, so I’ll be happy to reach the last day without getting AlfriKOed and needing a buy back

C. Guli really is a beast. Several times I have waited to debuff until after he goes off to minimize his damage, but it still hurts.

EOD4: offense 17-3, again mainly with my Kiril / Sonya / C-Sabina / Proteus / Triton team,
and my Sonya/Kiril/Azmia/Xiahou Dun/Triton defense holding at a strong A , 5-2!

Summary
I made myself a small summary of the heroes I most often met in defense:
11x Sonya, 10x Kirill, 10x Rigard, 9x Boril, 8x Xiao Dun, 6x Tiburtus, 5x Ferant and one question comes to my mind “where were holly heroes???”
It was 5 of them in 4 teams I lost with, but only 12 in remaining 21 teams 
Do you have the same?
Few players have fast purple heroes and this makes the yellow guys really strong on defense (speed is very important in BB)

Go with same tactic. Lose against one team because of bad board. Pretty similar to yesterday. The board is full of green and yellow. 
For now, I am at rank 7518. With C defense it might not hold in top 1%.

my first week going 25-0 on offense!! 
my defense had the opposite week 
0-0 for the first two days, then i finally got hit twice and lost both of those defenses. CCEE and probably going to finish E defense today. i’ve got enough cushion that i should finish top 1%.

Managed to end the last day with 5 wins on offensive, defense still not attacked so still stuck at B. Overall a really great result and I was lucky to get some very good boards while having some really strong opponents. I used the same team the entire week to be honest 
The only two times I lost were from an cGulli/Azmia team which proofed to be a great combo.

Tried something different in both attack and defense this tournament. Attacked with a more conservative 2-1-1-1 and it worked better than expected. Went mono in defense with good results too. I guess the important thing is that all your mono defenders should be LB and emblemed.
While the results were good, only 100 emblems for Tahir saved the loot from being utter trash
Oh well, RNG is gonna RNG. Hope she’s more helpful next week against all the Alfrikes, Xnols, Beras, cFreyas, and Ludwigs. See you all!
Edit : More anecdotal evidence that 4* Buff Booster is the easiest type of tournament? In the last cycle of 33 tournaments, I’ve gone 23-2 4 times and 24-1 once in the 5 4* Buff Boosters

Defense stayed a B to keep me in 1%! Ended with 18364 points, rank 6447. Loot:
Big red aether, druid emblems and ETT. 
Just happy to finish in 1% honestly.

Well, it doesn’t hold .
My defense use to hold strongly at 55% or B grade in “4* all color buff booster tournament” but it hold only 45% or C grade in this “4* no green buff booster tournament”.
I totally have no idea why the same red tank defense perform worse in “no green tournament” than “all color tournament”. Or the new hero make the different ?

I think it’s mostly luck that decided (bad/good boards, different opponents), but we have more and more heroes in our roster every week (after all, we keep improving them). More heroes mean more possibilities in attacking team.
Do you remember my double Sonya? Now more people have double Sonya, then a week ago
