Lost, when I tried greens (Magni tank with purple flanks). But my greens are fast, so it was bad choice.
Still learning 
So my the most efficient team for attack is:
Wilbur, LB2 Cillian, LB2 Tree, LB2 Rigard and one red/purple (Khagan (not maxed) or Sabina/Tree).
Rigard with activated aether power with Wilbur’s or Khagan’s defence is almost invincible.
Trees still defend well 
Quest for perfection ended in the first match of Day 2. Facing a similar defense as the previous day of Kalo - Ludwig - Alfrike - Khufu - MN. Used the same attack and not so lucky this time, off-colour tiles + cascade and it was a quick zero.
Won the next 2 against cKiril and Ludwig tanks, then got another Ludwig tank flanked by c2Khagan and Obakan. Board was full of Yellow and Red which I didn’t bring. Another zero.
Ended the day with another loss, this time against a Tetisheri tank with Himeros and Khepri flanks. Only managed to kill her for 137 points. Just one of those days 
Defense was B (1-1) on Day 1, and has now dropped to D (1-2). Don’t think I’ll last much longer this tournament.

Day2:
Offense is 9-1 so far. Really Happy about that since i had to face some really nasty defenses.
Lost to: Ariel-Morax-Hammertusk-Khagan-Iris. Might not to be that hard on first glance, but i wasnt able to take down hammertusk even with 3 red heroes.
Def is 1-0 so far. went with: Franz-Khufu-Alrike-Lotl-Xiahou Dun. Let´s see what the next few days will bring.

Day 2

It was a really bad day. I had two losses in a row (4th and 5th fight), and both to zero. The first defeat was against this team:
(protection from Alfrike and Miki) and I didn’t bring any “killers” (CoD or cGormek) to get rid of them quickly. So the battle was long, tiring and ended in the victory of… time

Day 2 was frustrating. I lost against 2 Alfrike tanks.
One of them I could have won but I got a cascade of tiles which set her off for a second time. Had she not, I had 4 heroes under mindless attack from her first special, BUT my Ludiwg was ready to fire, so I could have used him but she went off a second time and hit him 3 times, I managed to kill her, then Mother North on their team would have gone off, so I ran, so I had 1 kill in that.
Similar happened in another match, and again Mother North was going to fire, so I ran. I killed 2 in that one.

Day 3 was fun, 2 matches I thought I would lose. I lost only 1, the other one I was lucky with - it had:
Kalo / Black Knight / Aramis (LB2) / Alasie / Mother North
Aramis went off THREE times, yet I LUCKILY I kept getting green tiles and my lady of the Lake + 2 others constantly had Minions up, AND they seemed to keep targeting Kalo quite a lot, although Kalo did go off once, all 5 heroes were still alive so no excess damage. I managed to kill Aramis, then Kalo, then BK, then Alasie, then MN.
Again I lost to an Alfrike tank, who had LB2 Ludwig as flank. and Ahmose, wow he hurt and he was the one who actually made me lose! he fired twice and destroyed my whole team

I noticed that Alfrike alone isn’t as scary as I thought, but I always lose against Alfrike + Ludwig. I can’t beat this team when they have very fast mana.

Well, there goes the smoothness. Not really surprised with loosing against LB2 Aramis with LB2 Milady of de Winter flank def, I think I hate this duo even more than Alfrike + Ludwig.
Milady has 6 turns long ailment immunity for allies and buff immunity to enemies skills, just ridiculous, she fires once and when these abilities activate, they almost certainly never run out as rush flags mostly doesn’t last that long or she fires again an reactivates them… With the combination of ailment immunity that is undispellable from Aramis and self-health health boost and def up… I at least got 277 points from this loose at least.
But very sad that I got 1 red match against CC Elkanen tank defense… scored big fat 0 there. and I couldn’t charge my 2nd color either, I could only recharge my Shrubbear taunt… pffff
I won against all Ludwigs and Alfrike tanks so far, somehow.
Still I don’t remember when I last time had only 2 looses in 5* tourney after day 3.
A well-known name is on the leaderboard btw, not gonna spoil who it is lol. The tourney master himself - … that doesn’t post his progress in 5* tourneys for whatever reason. He is of course doing even better than I do.
I haven’t posted much on tournaments recently, but I thought you all might find this interesting. Here’s my defense:
It is currently 9-1! Augustus is tough to beat in this format.
Lost every flag 
3 matches into Day 3 and I’m out. Won 2 against Ludwig and Alfrike tanks, and then ran into another Alfrike tank. Board was actually good and got my 6 Purple tiles to set up my Kitty and Ludwig. But no more Purples after that and after Ludwig’s taunt ran out, got hit by Khufu and MN revived Alfrike.
Defense is D (4-8) so no big loss to stay on the sidelines for the rest of the tournament.

The reason why I doesn’t post the progress in 5* tourneys because I don’t have many powerful 5* and I focus on 3* and 4*. My 5* tournament usually don’t go well but this time I am luckily.
Ok, I will post my progress since I somehow do exceptionally good in this tournament.
Day 3
O : 5-0 (14-1)
Go with mostly Shrubbear - C Sabina/C Ariel - Lord Loki - Ludwig - Proteus in all attack. My Shrubbear have x2 LB and he is my mvp in this tournament.
I somehow face only 1 Alfrike tank and lose. I never face any Goseck or Milady de Winter. I am very lucky at opponenet.
Lose once against this team in 7th attack in day 2.
I go with Shrubbear - C Sabina/C Ariel - Lord Loki - Ludwig - Proteus. The board is bad. Alfrike tank and Cupido flank fire and kill my Shrubbear. It is very long battle. The board have very few purple tile all the time. I kill tank but I lose Lord Loki. I think I am about to lose. But my C Sabina block enemy Krampus and Kitty and my Proteus stop enemy Cupido and Kalo. I somehow manage to kill enemy Krampus, Kitty and Cupido with Proteus. I reach tiebreaker. The only problem is enemy Kalo with double hp since he immune to Proteus’s poison. At the end, the board just refuse to give me purple tile under enemy Kalo. I reach turn 50 at 300% damage and damage enemy Kalo to only 95 hp left when the time run out .
Most of my attack is against damage dealer. The LB2 Shrubbear work well against them

Kalo - Ludwig - Treevil combo just work well. Get A everyday .
Haha I just randomly looked today if I won’t find someone I know from forums or the game and I saw you there LoL.
I don’t really use many 5* in 5* rush tbh. except the 3 blue or 3 red hitters in the 3-1-1 team. Also Lord Loki and CC Li Xiu will be my new superstars if I level them up, so should be quite helpful. I might go 2-1-1-1 if I finish them as I will be able to use some more good mana control. LB2 Shrub saved with from 2 looses as well. I mean I do have some nice 5* cards, but most of them aren’t really rush specialists.
For me Sobek, Lud and Mitsuko works well in def so far in the middle I’m 10-2, didn’t put in Tree cause he isn’t 2nd LB yet and don’t have Kalo, that C Ariel is nice too I bet.
My alliance mate told me Mitsuko will be nice Lud flank, cause mana cut can be really annoying in rush and it held way better in last rush war than with regular Khagan on her spot. And it works in tourney really well too.
I faced 2 Augustus so far 1 on wing and 1 on flank. He was the flank of this ridiculous team I lost against today. Annoying little guy boosts HP like crazy! Just heals everything back up to insane boost levels that if he fire once, he has a chance to literally double everyone’s HP in the team. Very OP in rush indeed.
Honestly I find these middle 3 more OP than Alfrike and Lud lol.
In fact, I start do better since I get Ludwig. Then Ludwig - Proteus combo can shut down whole enemy team as long as you can fire Ludwig constantly. The only problem is that Proteus is too fragile. But now, I have x2 LB Shrubbear and he seem to make it much better .
In fact, I stop posting update result in 5* tournament for more than a years. At that time, I have really very few 5* and literally no game changer 5* at all. Then everything change since I get my first game changer 5* Milena. Now, I think I have pretty good amount of good 5* and do pretty better in 5* tourmanet. I might back to post update result .
He works great on maps stages for the same reason. It is kind of nice to shrug off enemies that hit all for 2K!

haha this is my point from another post I recently made, there are too many and hard to remember based on face alone. I don’t have time to be clicking on every player’s card looking at their long list of abilities, so I just pick who I am comfortable with for offence and let the tiles be lucky or unlucky
But I do recognise these:
Alfrike / Mi Lady / Aramis / Unsure / Khufu
I have faced the green guy a lot but don’t remember his name.
Aramis is someone I have faced a lot recently, not only in the tournament but also lots in raids, and he is LB2 on most.
Personally, I am going to hate tomorrow. I have no 5* with LB2, and I am guessing all teams I will face will have a MINIMUM of 1 or 2 that is LB2 
“Unsure” is Augustus. He’s the one that I have Slow Overhealer from Christmas

I used Ludwig quite a few times this tourney and I’m not saying he doesn’t help I just think that he with Proteus together just don’t cut it, mainly cause they both need same tile color to charge. I think I’ll love Lud in rush even more with Lord Loki and CC Lixiu near him so he’ll boost their mana . LB2 Shrub, Lord Loki, Ludwig, CC Li Xiu in same team in rush could be quite fun.
You don’t want to know then . It’s Aramis and Milady De Winter. They are both from Musketeers portal. and I hate them both not just in rush.
