I have decided to take my time lbreaking my heroes, because I’m C2P and buying aethers is out of question. Apart from very few exceptions, I’m only beaking 5*s, because I only use 3s and 4s for tourneys and challenge events and my +20 heroes are still able to keep me in the 1% loot bracket. I don’t have enough time to compete in challenge events.
That being said, these are my contenders:
- Yellow (i can break 2 heroes):
Current Roster: Wolfgang LB +20, C. Joon +20, Devana, C. Leo +20, Uraeus +20, White Rabbit +20, Malosi +20, Bai Ywong +19, Neith +20, Delilah +20, Eloise +6, Motega +1
C. Leo seems an obvious first choice, because I use him a lot and elemental defense is so useful. For the second set of aethers, I’m thorn between:
a) Motega, which is a recent a solid acquisition. His minions and fiends would benefit from increased stats. I planned stripping Malicna of her emblems and give them to Motega, but I’ve been cautious, because my purple roster is already too weak;
b) Dellilah. Not a fan of breaking healers, but Dellilah remains my only yellow 5*, and she’s starting to feel a little lackluster because of her 2018 stats. Her minions benefitting from increased stats is a silver lining. I don’t plan to pull anymore for Liden or C. Viv. Zuri is a possibility, but I’m not particularly pulling for Circus either. It’s still soon, but so far season 5 is not bringing a new yellow healer.
c) Wait. I plan doing at least a 30x pull for season 5. I could get Horus or maybe another worthy yellow from soul exchange.
- Blue
Current roster: Milena LB +20, Skadi LB +20, C.B. Krampus +20, C. Magni +20, C. Richard +20, C. Isarnia +20, Raffaelle +20, Vela +20 and Misandra. I’m working on finishing Quintin and I have 1500 rogue emblems ready for him.
My instinct is to break Krampus already. I use him a lot, and that would make him even more beefier than he already is. But then there’s Quintin, which would also be even scarier with boosted stats. I could also use this opportunity to make Magni or Vela more competitive. Magni is still used a lot in raiding (quintin would replace him eventually) and I only ever use Vela in wars.
- Green
Current roster: C. Kadilen LB +20, Congalach +20, Heimdall +20, Kingston +20, Zeline +20, Telluria +14, Ratatoskr, Tarlak and Bertila.
My heart says Congalach, simply because this fellow is one of the most fun heroes to play with in this game. I love bringing him in every raid. But Zeline remains one of the most useful heroes in my roster. Her dispell is more relevant than ever and her outdated stats are starting to make a difference.
- Red
Current roster: Ruby LB +20, C. Vanda +20, Elizabeth +20, Garnet +20, Gravemaker +20, Marjana +20, Octros +7, Mitsuko +7, Yang Mai, Jean-François, Lady Loki.
Contenders are Vanda, Liz and Octros, which I’m still finishing embleming. Octros is a beast and I plan to use him as a defender for wars and also offensively. But Liz could also fill that role, and I like that her fiends would also benefit from the new stats. Then there’s Vanda, which I don’t use much, because Garnet is already giving me ailment protection, but she’s also a very solid hero and also a great defender.
- Purple
Current roster: Hannah LB +20, Quartz +19, Alfrike +20, Malicna +19, Clarissa +20, Lepiota +12, Domitia +20, Grimble +12, C. Marie-Therese +1, Hel and Diaochan being leveled.
Purple is probably my weakest color. With most alliances running purple tanks, I focused a lot of my resources on my yellow roster. Hel is somewhat a new addition that I got from HA10 and I do plan to give her emblems once I finish Eloise, and I do think she’s a good contender for LB, but realistic it would take quite some time to get her to +20 and I could LB someone now and give her the next set of aethers.
That being said, I think it’s either Clarissa or Diaochan. Diaochan is a healer, so LBing her would only benefit her defensive stats. Clarissa on the other hand is a bit underwhelming, but updated stats could make her useful again. I could also save these aethers for a future hero.
