I’m just going to throw out there that the lack of offensive and defensive preparedness may not be limited to 1* and 2* heroes. Although the problem may definitely involve the concept of a “feeder.”
Because let’s face it: a shell necklace and a knuckleduster made out of dead trout aren’t really the accoutrements calculated to strike fear in the hearts of ones foes.
Also, flip-flops probably don’t meet the requirenents of “combat-ready.”

This is kind of a hybrid legitimate Complaint/idea and feature improvements, but why in the Mordor do we not have a grandmother from the Three Amigos as a hero?!?!

The “jandal slap” is very effective! Believe me there have been many (and I mean alot) New Zealand bottoms on the receiving end of a jandal slap…and it ain’t pretty.
